Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Gorge Green” Posted: 01 Aug 2011 11:20 AM PDT Following the Nike Zoom Kobe VI "Venice Beach" Custom we showed you earlier today, we now have a look at a more attainable Kobe VI colorway. Later this year, Nike Basketball will release this Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Gorge Green” at select spots. The dark green shade smothers the scaly upper and is seen on the inner lining tongue and laces. This pair is inspired by boot-designs of the 50s and features a modern street-style chukka shape that has become a fan-favorite in mens everyday fashion. Today, we take a look at the four new colorways set to drop later this year. The first two pairs are seen in brown and white leather, while the last two pairs are seen in grey and tanned canvas uppers. The Nike Zoom Kobe VI "Venice Beach" custom captures the spirit of the sand with the flavor of the hoop scene. A light tan upper incorporates actual grains of sand from the beach while a glass blue midsole portrays the Pacific Ocean. Does this custom make for one of the better Kobe VI colorways?
