Nike Air Max Alpha 2011 Dark Grey/Volt & Neutral Grey/Silver Posted: 08 Aug 2011 12:58 PM PDT Aggressive design and high performance materials fuse on the Nike Air Max Alpha 2011. Grey based colorways bring neutrality through seasons and functions. Big Air in the heel catches the eye and supports the foot while a Hyperfuse upper breathes under a retro branded tongue. Posted: 08 Aug 2011 12:58 PM PDT If you recall, this New Balance 998 Grey/Burgundy was one of the sneakers incorporated into the Distinct Life x New Balance 30 For 30 series. As expected, this pair is now available at select spots worldwide. A mainly light grey suede upper is offset by hints of grey mesh on the toe box and collar area. Burgundy shows up on the New Balance logo border and New Balance tongue branding. The New Balance 998 Grey/Burgundy is now available at the Nice Kicks shop. Watch The Toes: A History of Kanye & Jay-Z’s Sneaker Ventures Posted: 08 Aug 2011 12:28 PM PDT When it comes to kicks Jay-Z and Kanye West have been featured on more drops than anyone else in the rap game. Signatures, collabs, and samples have put both on a pedestal as tastemakers and power players in overlapping industries. Over the years, the brothers in arms have proved friends in feet stepping out in style together and even crossing their own lines. Having worked on multiple releases with numerous brands, we take a look at Yeezy and Hov's track record in the footwear field. No School in the WildShoe: Jay-Z x Nike Air Force 1 “All Black Everything” Jay's "Run This Town" quotable led to a limited run of charitable kicks. In conjunction with 2010's World Basketball Festival, Nike teamed up with the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation releasing five pairs of blacked-out Forces on eBay. Students were the real winners as the funds raised went all-school-everything. Nike Air Force 1 Hi Vac Tech “Pewter” Posted: 08 Aug 2011 11:59 AM PDT We have now spotted the first colorway seen on the Nike Air Force 1 Hi Vac Tech seeing that all of the other ones were incorporated on the low-top. This particular pair features a distressed, antique that further highlights the seamless, unibody upper. The Pewter shell is paired with multiple grey hints, specifically on the sole, inner lining and laces. Jordan Fly 23 Varsity Red/Black Posted: 08 Aug 2011 11:28 AM PDT Flip the Bulls theme, land a standout. The Jordan Fly 23 switches up the style, serving varsity red as the main attraction with black accents and metallic silver detailing. Nike Air Force 1 Vac Tech Black Posted: 08 Aug 2011 09:48 AM PDT In addition to the “Grey Wool” Nike Air Force 1 Vac Tech we showed you earlier today, Nike will also release a black version of this seamless Air Force 1. It simply owns a glossy, premium Foamposite-esque upper colored in a smoked out black color. We say that because the laces, midsole, tongue branding and inner lining are all colored in a darker wash of black. Stay tuned because release information should surface soon. Posted: 08 Aug 2011 09:36 AM PDT We have seen the Nike Air Max 1 sparingly this year; however, we will witness one of the most unique pairs we have seen in awhile this September. Dubbed the Nike Air Max 1 “Aztec”, this pair pays tribute to the traditional Aztec fabrics. That said, an peculiar Aztec fabric design is seen on the side panels, while the rest of the shoe is comprised of grey premium leather and nubuck. The Nike Air Max 1 “Aztec” is set to release in September of 2011. Source: sneakerbaas © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | 3 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
