Release Reminder: Nike LeBron 8 PS “Finals” Posted: 01 Sep 2011 12:55 PM PDT Although the 2011 NBA Finals ended in June, there is still a piece of the Dallas Mavericks vs Miami Heat series to be had in the form of this Nike LeBron 8 PS “Finals”. If you recall, James debuted this shoe in game 3 of the Finals series to coincide with the Miami Heat’s red ‘Away’ jerseys. Nike’s Fuse technology covers the majority of the upper, while a Del Sol outlined Swoosh and White/Del Sol LeBron tongue logo, provide nice color compliments. It also features a black based, speckled 180-degree Air Max unit. Is this the best LeBron 8 PS to date? The Nike LeBron 8 PS “Finals” will hit select retailers and Nike’s online store tomorrow. Posted: 01 Sep 2011 12:28 PM PDT It's September already? Most of us don't want to see summer end, but at least Jordan Brand has prepped a solid lineup for us. An emphasis on new models and outdoor, Winterized silhouettes means a low count on Retros, with the "Stealth" 3 being the lone pair. Don't fret though, because cold weather battlers have a number of beefed up kicks to rock when the fall brings some nasty weather. Check out which kicks drop this month bearing a Jumpman. adidas adi Navvy Boot Black/White Vapour Posted: 01 Sep 2011 12:13 PM PDT After a well-embraced web debut yesterday, the adidas adi Navvy Boot returns in a Black/White Vapour colorway. More reserved than its brown counterpart, this noir makeup offers little contrast relying on tonal blocking. Tumbled and smooth leather compose the black-based upper set over a white vapour sole. Posted: 01 Sep 2011 11:58 AM PDT Wear a size 12? Kanye's got a pair of "Infrared" 6s he won't be needing. While his Air Yeezy 2 breakout made headlines alone, it also makes Ye a headliner in this week's Celebrity Sneaker Stalker. "New" is a common theme in this week's column as we see new shoes on some of our old favorites and old sneakers on some new headliners. Is it Kanye versus the field today? Decide for yourself in the voting poll and give props in the comment section. Jordan SC-2 Tour Yellow/Black-White Posted: 01 Sep 2011 11:28 AM PDT Jordan Brand released a couple of subtle Jordan SC-2 colorways during the summer (Black/City Grey, White/French Blue-University Blue-Stealth). However, the fall will see a few head-turning colorways such as this Jordan SC-2 Tour Yellow/Black-White. It specifically possesses a mainly Tour Yellow leather upper with heavy, black piping throughout the base. To finish it off, this SC-2 owns a white midsole. Air Jordan 1 Custom Cleat for Jeremy Guthrie Posted: 01 Sep 2011 10:35 AM PDT Last May, Orioles pitcher Jeremy Guthrie made a splash on the sneaker scene when he Tweeted a picture of his shoe vault. He's back at it with a recent look at his custom Air Jordan 1 cleat. The "Max Orange" colorway from 2009 gets revamped with a cleated outsole and toe plate on the right foot. Talk about throwing heat. Via @JGuthrie46 © Ian Stonebrook for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | 4 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
