In Retrospect: Air Jordan 9 “Charcoal” Posted: 03 Sep 2011 11:13 AM PDT Jordan Brand released a ton of Air Jordan 9 colorways last year to many fans’ liking. Yet, one of, if not the most anticipated one was the “Charcoal” Air Jordan 9. Before last year, the “Charcoal” Air Jordan 9 had not hit the shelves since its original debut in 1994. Were you able to get your hands on the Air Jordan 9 “Charcoal”, and was it worth the money you paid for it? If not, are you wishing you would have snagged them last September? How does this colorway rank amongst the other Air Jordan 9s that released last year ("University Blue" "Silver Anniversary")? Lastly, was this one of your favorite Air Jordan Retro releases of 2010? Let us know your thoughts on the Air Jordan 9 “Charcoal” in the comment section below. © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |
Puma Dallas Ketchup/Creme Brulee Posted: 03 Sep 2011 10:28 AM PDT Traditionally not a great culinary combination, Ketchup and Creme Brulee tones have been combined for a great overall colorway on this particular pair of Puma Dallas. Tonal red suede is draped over the entire upper, even hiding the side panel banding, while creme brulee off-white accents can be seen outlining the sole unit as well as the inner liner. THe pair is finished off with brass metal lace eyelets. Check out more images below. Puma Dallas Source: Shelta © Albert Lin for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |
UNDFTD Opening San Francisco Location Posted: 03 Sep 2011 07:46 AM PDT Head north, young men. A staple, nay a frontrunner, in the production and retailing of kicks and streetwear, UNDFTD has announced its plan move to open a location in the City by the Bay next week (September 9th). This will mark the opening of its seventh worldwide location and is actually the former location of the now-closed HUF SF store. Dwight Howard Dunks on Giant Giraffe in adidas Crazy Light Posted: 03 Sep 2011 07:45 AM PDT No real animals were harmed in the making of this video, but a fake one was posterized. While in Asia, Dwight Howard did just about everything in the adidas adiZero Crazy Light and adidas adiPower Howard. First, he dunked on a giant giraffe in Tokyo, then he planked in his new signature with 100 fans in Beijing. Watch the video and check out the pics. Nike Royaltna Black & Bog Green Posted: 02 Sep 2011 03:58 PM PDT The Air Royal gets even better with a little 'tna' (get your mind out of the gutter). Combining the popular Sportswear model with the Ratna, the Nike Air Royaltna is outdoor ready with indoor level detail. Full grain leather composes the upper with Phylon and Air adding comfort. Both Black and Bog Green based colorways are available at Nike Store. Nike Royaltna © Ian Stonebrook for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | One comment | Add to del.icio.us |
Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Nike Vault 1 Year Anniversary” Posted: 02 Sep 2011 02:51 PM PDT Can you believe Nike Vault's been around a whole year? Can you believe there's another colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI? You better believe it. The Staples centered shoe store has been the spot for many limited sneakers, especially of the Black Mamba variety. Donning a black upper, gold Swoosh, speckled midsole, and clear outsole, these look to be the next. Stay tuned for more information. Release Reminder: Air Jordan 3 “Stealth” Posted: 02 Sep 2011 02:28 PM PDT Tomorrow, September 3, Jordan Brand will release the third Air Jordan 3 colorway of the year (“True Blue”, “White Cement”) in the form of the “Stealth” Air Jordan 3. Unlike the other two previously mentioned Air Jordan 3s, this will be the first non-original colorway of MJ’s third signature model to release this year. The upper is comprised of two shades of grey, Stealth and Light Graphite, in the form of nubuck and the ever-so-popular cement print. Minimal Varsity Red hints, such as the laceholders, tongue border and Jumpman branding, provide color to this otherwise subtle shoe. Lastly, this shoe is complimented with a black midsole and a white outsole.

Posted: 02 Sep 2011 02:21 PM PDT Over the past couple of weeks, we have spotted a few all-red creations from Nike (see Nike Dunk Low ‘Red Ripstop’, Nike Air Force 1 Low Varsity Red ‘Suede’). Today, we see the ever-intriguing all-red scheme on the Nike Dunk Hi model. This particular Dunk features a predominately mesh textured base with a suede quarter panel and a suede Swoosh. To finish it off, this shoe is complimented with a white midsole and a Sport Red outsole. Source: Kicks Crew © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | 5 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
