Jordan Team Iso Quai 54

Although the 2009-2010 NBA season came to an end last, basketball is far from over. It is time to hit the outdoor courts for most of you basketball junkies. With that said, Jordan Brand has constructed a newly-designed sneaker for the upcoming Quai 54 basketball tournament.

Quai 45, the largest International Streetball Tournament, is held in France and sponsored by Jordan Brand. While last year’s Quai 54 brought about the “Ruff & Tuff” Pack, this year’s sneakers and colors are very different as seen above. This year’s Quai 54 will see the unveiling of the Jordan Team Iso in a LIEVSTRONG-esque color scheme. The shoe itself incorporates Zoom Air and features a multi-textured upper. In detail, patent leather, suede and a monochromatic, cement print-like design, make up the majority of this Team Iso. Stay tuned as we’re sure to see additional news regarding this sneaker.

Luke Meier for Vans Syndicate Zero Lo

Luke Meier for Vans Syndicate Zero Lo

Vans Syndicate gave Supreme’s Luke Meier the reigns to its latest project, the Zero Lo. The result was this refined sneaker that channels both luxury elements and the classic Vans skate heritage. We first saw a tan version just before the end of 2009, and now we’re checking out this black colorway.

Black suede is used for the entirety of the upper, with the exception of a small patch on the forefoot that makes use of full grain leather. A white sole sits underneath and the laces and eyelets are also white.

Nike Match Classic Vintage

Posted: 18 Jun 2010 12:28 PM PDT

Nike Match Classic Vintage

Over the past couple of seasons, Nike has applied its vintage attributes to a number of its silhouettes including the All Court, the Blazer and the Challenger. Next up, Nike gives the rarely-seen Match Classic vintage, old-fashioned aspects for the fall of 2010.

The vintage qualities have been a big subject in the sneaker community as some of you welcome the different look while others despise it. As for these Match Classics, they feature more of a spotty, stained sole attribute as opposed to a yellowed look. The uppers, coming in black and sail, are done up in suede and feature the vintage Nike logo on the tongue. Look for both pairs to be available stateside in the fall. View additional photos below.

Nike Air Max 1 Solar Red/White

It seems like when the Summer months come around, so do the ultra-bright sneakers. This pair of Nike Air Max 1s is primed for release soon, though you’ll have to size up to your WMNS equivalent.

Solar Red suede covers the majority of the upper, with white mesh filling out the remainder. Dark Grey accents can also be seen on the heel, liner and forefoot strip. A gum outsole adds a nice touch to the bottom of these.

Nike Air Max Wavy “Copper”

Posted: 18 Jun 2010 11:28 AM PDT

Nike Air Max Wavy Copper

Surprisingly, many of you were impressed with the upcoming Nike Air Max Wavy colorways that are set to appear in July. We have now spotted yet another Nike Air Max Wavy colorway that can serve as consolation prize if you didn’t get the chance to snag a specific major release in February.

The Nike Air Max Wavy “Copper” is now available at select retailers nationwide for $80. The copper foamposite material appears throughout the lower half of the upper and on the side panels, while black suede is seen on the toe area, throughout the midfoot and on the heel.  It also feartures a copper-outlined, black swoosh on the heel and a copper visible Air sole unit. Even if you own the Nike Air Foamposite “Copper”, this shoe can be your actual ‘playing ‘ shoe while the Foams sit on ice.

Nike Air Pippen II “Eggplant”

Posted: 18 Jun 2010 10:58 AM PDT

Nike Air Pippen II "Eggplant"

It’s hard to believe that any shade of purple could ever catch on the way “Eggplant” has. From the Foamposite One to the Air Penny III, this hue has adorned a number of classic Nike Basketball silhouettes. Now the Air Pippen II, which we haven’t seen in a number of years, is set to release in an “Eggplant” look.

The namesake hue is used for the entirety of the leather upper and the finish gives a color-shifting effect. The Swoosh and midsole accent are both glossy black. Is “Eggplant” a good look on this shoe, or is Nike applying it to too many models? Head to the comments section and weigh in.

Nike Air Force 1 Black/Light Bone

Posted: 18 Jun 2010 10:28 AM PDT

Nike Air Force 1

After showing you preliminary photos of the Nike Air Force 1 Black/Light Bone a few weeks ago, we have now learned that it is available at select retailers worldwide.

This particular Nike Air Force 1 will be well-received because of its multi-textured, multi-patterned design cues. A black matte finish leather is applied to the toe area, the swoosh and along the midfoot. As for the side and heel panels, Nike added an interesting light bone line design that overlays black leather. The lines are actually positioned in different directions giving this Air Force 1 a rather distinctive look. Other features include a light bone midsole, a black outsole and minimal red branding on the tongue and heel. View detailed photos below.

Wall Rocks Reebok Zig Slash in Wizards Workout

Posted: 17 Jun 2010 01:13 PM PDT

John Wall Rocks the Reebok Zig Slash

A week ago, future number one draft pick John Wall relayed his Reebok signing message to the world via Twitter. Many of you criticized Wall’s five-year, $25 million signing to Reebok; however, some of you agreed that this can potentially be something big similar to Allen Iverson’s venture with Reebok. Whether you approve or not, Wall wasted no time in supporting his new sneaker basketball team.

John Wall was spotted wearing the newly-designed Reebok Zig Slash in a workout for the Washington Wizards. If you recall, we have shown you a few Reebok Zig Slash colorways; yet, we have never seen the pair Wall wore in yesterday’s workout. One can argue that this Reebok Zig Slash was designed with the University of Kentucky color scheme in mind, but if the Washington Wizard pick Wall with the first pick in the draft, he will possibly wear this exact same shoe in the NBA next year.

The Reebok Zig Slash, which has been labeled the ‘energy drink for your feet‘, possesses Reebok’s latest Zig Technology, notably seen on the sole construction. What are your thoughts in regards to Wall’s Reebok Zig Slash?

Nike Lunar Elite Trail Mid QS

Posted: 17 Jun 2010 12:58 PM PDT

Nike Lunar Elite Trail Mid QS

At first look you may dismiss this Nike as a trail-ready ACG model. Don’t jump to conclusions though, as it is actually a Lunar-enhanced sneaker.

The above-noted Lunar sole sits underneath in a black-speckled grey hue and the upper makes use of another Nike technology: Flywire. The purple and black upper is contrasted by a red Swoosh and orange liner. They’re perfectly suited for those who do most of their traveling on foot and can be grabbed on the first of August.

SN’EADS – Episode 8

Posted: 17 Jun 2010 12:28 PM PDT

Sneads

The last two SN’EADS episodes have centered their attention around specific happenings or hot topics in the nation today. The “Sneaker Friends” episode obviously focused on an exact encounter at the event, while ‘Is it the Shoes?’ brought light to the hard-fought Oklahoma City Thunder vs Los Angeles Lakers series. Today’s SN’EADS episode 8 focuses on one of the most talked-about subjects within the hip hop community.

Celebrity Sneaker Stalker regulars Wale, Kid Cudi and Drake make appearance in episode 8. It’s starts off with Wale bragging about his sneaker heat; yet, it seems Kid Cudi has given up on sneaker competition and prefers  to rock the kilts instead. View the entire SN’EADS episode to see what Drake seems to be focused on right now.

Nike Big Nike Sport Red/Black

Posted: 17 Jun 2010 11:28 AM PDT

Nike Big Nike

We have not seen the Big Nike as much as the Dunk, Blazer or Air Force 1 this year; however, select retailers such as Premier now has a fresh colorway of this 1985-released sneaker available in multiple sizes.

This particular Nike Big Nike features a colorway that is very similar to the Nike SB Dunk Mid Pro we showed you a couple of days ago. Sport red covers the side panels, toe box and tongue, while the rest of the base is constructed in black suede. As with all Big Nike models, the enlarged ‘NIKE’ logo rests on the heel in red block letters. Lastly, a white midsole and black outsole finish this shoe off. View detailed photos below.

Nike Blazer "Quilted Satin" Sail & Varsity Red

The Nike Blazer has been seen in a number of “Quilted Satin” looks lately, including a two shoe WMNS Low Pack. Two more Mids have been spotted at Cali retailer Proper sporting similar make-ups.

The first sports a Sail satin and leather upper. A dark grey Swoosh and red liner add splashes of color. The second is covered in Varsity Red satin and leather on the sides and toe/midfoot, respectively. It sports a gold Swoosh and quilt stitching. The latter feature is also seen on the first shoe.

PEAK Mikael Pietrus PEs

Posted: 17 Jun 2010 10:28 AM PDT

PEAK Mikael Pietrus PE

Following the Sonny Weems PEAK PEs we showed you at the top of the week, we now have multiple photos of Mikael Pietrus’s PEAK PEs.

If you recall, Pietrus wore many different Nike sneakers during the 2008-2009 NBA season; however, this past season, he rocked PEAK and may have owned the best player exclusives of that particular brand. Mikael’s PEs are most recognizable because of the enlarged PEAK logo that sits between the toe area and midfoot. The same area also features horizontal blue lines that coincide with curvy lines throughout the heel area. As for the side panels, one side features Mikael’s initials, while the other side features the words, Stand Together. View detailed photos below including one of Pietrus wearing this shoe during the 2010 NBA Eastern Conference Finals.
