Nike Vintage Killshot

The Nike Killshot were first introduced almost thirty years ago, thought to be a new design to Nike that would stay for the long run, and this year it makes a comeback. The Killshot seen here features a combination suede and mesh-upper as its revival in 2009 also includes a vintage distressed treatment. Two colorways in clean, simple colors are seen here which will release sometime in the second half of April. The simplicity, low profile look, and distinguished colorway of the Nike Killshot.

NIKE DUNK X PAULE MARROT (WMNS)

This summer, Nike Sportswear chose to remix Nike materials within the Nike Sportswear collection with legendary French textile designer Paule Marrot Editions. Once loved by the British royal family and Jackie Kennedy, Paule Marrot Editions has been creating memorable designs since 1920. Nike Sportswear's footwear designers integrated Paule Marrot's ‘Aurore’ to inspire the Butterflies and Feathers prints on the new ‘Skinny’ Dunks, and the ‘Les Cerises’ print draped two colorways in all-over prints of Cherries on the shoes for Summer 09. ‘Les Cerises’ is adapted from the original Paule Marrot design – Bigareaux – and is inspired by the cherries sitting in front of her when she met her husband-to-be. Paule Marrot's textiles were heavily influenced by Marrot's early studies as a painter under impressionists such as Pierre-August Renoir, Raoul Dufy and Maurice Denis. Accents of the designs show up throughout the rest of the Nike Sportswear Summer 09 Dunk collection as well, not just on the ‘Skinny Dunks.’ The Nike designer team have used inspiration to create the original Nike Dunk Lows in unisex styles as well.

Adidas Consortium Nizza Hi and Lo

The release of the contemporary Consortium Series, Adidas unfold their vital use of stripes to commemorate 60 years. The Adidas Consortium Nizza Hi and Lo comes in a vibrant blue upper in a white mid sole, while the Lo comes in a grey upper. Both shoes features striped motif, reflective of Adidas' 3-Stripe legacy, the low top  version combine more vibrant and exciting colors to give you that jump feeling, while the high top version uses its chilling blue and the rush of white stripe to subdue you. The Nizza Hi adds to its vulcanized heritage with a shiny, patent upper in a blue colorway with an orange trim sat on top of a crisp white midsole. Horizontal white stripes line the upper and overlay the iconic 3-Stripes. The Nizza Lo is a more understated affair and presents a tonal colorway of yellow on grey on a fleece material upper. Again the upper sports horizontal stripes, this time thinner, in yellow and offset against the ubiquitous 3-Stripes. These can be expected to release for the Spring/Summer season.

Nike Dunk High Premium Purple/Yellow

Yesterday, we showed you the Nike Dunk Low Black 3M, and many of you were enamored by the infamous icy sole it possessed. In addition, we have now spotted another colorway of the Dunk that features the icy sole.

As opposed to the Nike Dunk Low Black 3M, this particular sneaker is a Nike Dunk High model. Although both pair contain an icy sole, that is where the comparisons stop. The Nike Dunk High Premium contains a 100% purple base with minimal yellow accents on the shoelaces and tongue logo. An interesting feature is seen on the toe box, side panels and ankle area which own a woven texture. The rest of the sneaker is smothered in purple leather.

Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III “Dunkman”

Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III Dunkman

The “Dunkman” colorway originally showed up on the Zoom LeBron II and caught quite a following. Ever since, Nike and King James have applied the winning combination to a number of silhouettes, the latest of which you see here.

The Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III “Dunkman” features the beloved grey and Mean Green color combo. Not to mention the translucent green sole. Look for these to hit retailers this month.

The Zoom Soldier III has been well received so far, but is this better than the black/red and white/navy colorways?

fragment design x Nike Sportswear Air Footscape

Nike Sportswear has teamed up with fragment design once again, this time for two versions of the Air Footscape.

Like their most recent collab on the Nike Tennis Classic, simplicity seems to be the overall approach on these designs. The fragment design x Nike Sportswear Air Footscape is a Tier Zero release done up in simple two-tone colorways. Only a small fragment logo on the heel tab lets you know they were designers, typical of most of their work.

Available now for about $150.
