Who else welcomes sneaker after sneaker from the ongoing LIVESTRONG x Nike collection? Following the pair of LIVESTRONG x Nike Air Max Tailwinds that released in February, we now inform you of the Lunarfly+ and the LunarGlide+ available at Nike’s online store now.

Obviously, both lightweight sneakers possess the iconic black/yellow color scheme; yet, each pair owns a unique, multi-textured base. The Nike Lunarfly+ is comprised mainly of mesh in black and neutral grey. The latter color is seen throughout the toe area and on the tongue. As for the LunarGlide+, it also features multiple sections of black mesh; however, a yellow flywire design appears on the side panels. Both are finished with a yellow Lunar Foam sole, a silver Swoosh and a black inner lining. As stated earlier, both are now available at select retailers nationwide.

News of a return of the Nike Air Max 90 Infrared retro pleased more than its fair share of readers and sneaker collectors. The news was great to have, but this is our first look at an actual 2010 version of the classic sneaker, even if it’s still a sample.

These are a perfect reproduction of the OG shoe. The mudguard is black leather, the toe and mid-panel grey suede and the toe box white mesh. Infrared is found on the lower plastic midfoot, outsole toe, Air Max window surround and heel panel. We know these will release in July at select retailers, but if you want to get a jump on the rest, these samples are now available on eBay.

Vans Vault Chukka LX “Chicago Cubs”

Vans Vault has already shown love to one MLB team in Chi-Town by unveiling the Vans Vault Chukka LX "Chicago White Sox" a couple of weeks ago. However, Vans Vault recognizes that everybody in Chicago is not White Sox fan. With that said, take a look at the Vans Vault Chukka LX “Chicago Cubs”.

Much like the previously-mentioned White Sox sneaker, Vans used the Chukka LX for their tribute to the Chicago Cubs. This Chukka LX draws its color inspiration from the Cubs current alternate jerseys. Blue suede smothers the entire upper with minimal details such as white shoelaces, a red line design just above the vulcanized sole and a Cubs logo on the lateral panel. It is also finished with a white inner lining and blue/red Vans branding on the heel. This Chukka LX will release on April 12th exclusively at St. Alfred (12PM). Air Jordan 2010 Coming to NikeiD?

Air Jordan 2010 coming to NikeiD?

Just recently NikeiD celebrated a decade of providing consumers the ability to have a one of a kind footwear experience. Since it’s inception there have been many anxiously waiting for the Air Jordan series to make it’s way to the service.

While Steve Jobs was showing off the new iPhone 4.0 OS experience including mobile ads, several new apps were on display including what appears to be Jordan Brand’s latest move in technology. Besides the History of Flight story being told through the app, it appears that the Air Jordan 2010 will be available to multitask with the NikeiD application.

Nothing at this point has been confirmed by Jordan Brand publicly about the Air Jordan 2010 making its way to NikeiD, but will this be the catalyst to gain more acceptance for the new silhouette? This would in fact be the first model from the flagship to make its way to NikeiD. Thanks Adam.

"Silver Anniversary" Air Jordan 11 Release Confirmed
The hands-down favorite silhouette of the Air Jordan family’s “Silver Anniversary” treatment will finally hit shelves in less than a month. On May 1st, the Air Jordan 11 Retro will land at retailers, though the release numbers are not yet known.

An all-white patent leather mudguard gets help from an equally clean all-white upper. Despite speculation about the eventual presence of an embroidered Jumpman logo on the ankle, the official release shoe will not feature one, it seems. An icy clear outsole finishes the build. Are you planning to grab a pair the day they drop?

Many of you were very impressed with the design details incorporated in the sak x Converse Chuck Taylor collection we showed you at the end of March. Although those Chuck Taylors were $600-$700 and available in limited qualities, we have now spotted a more attainable Chuck Taylor collection that is now available.

Converse hooked up with UK retailer for this special collaborative effort dubbed the Converse Chuck Taylor “Parachute” Pack. This two-sneaker pack consists of a Chuck Taylor Hi and a Chuck Taylor Low both dressed in a parachute nylon texture. The Chuck Taylor Hi features an all-black nylon base with minimal yellow hints on the heel and sole. The low-top Chuck Taylor is finished with a metallic silver nylon texture and owns blue and red accents in the same sections. Both pairs own complimentary attributes including white laces, silver laceholders and white rubber toe caps. Available now at Offspring.

The Nike Lunar Rejuven8 Mid has been spotted in two more colorways for Summer. Though the Torch-consctructed silhouette hasn’t been around long, we’ve always seen an innumerable amount of color-ups, including some inspired by the World Cup. These two have no team affiliations, but might still be the perfect pair to throw on after a game of soccer, or hoops, or any other sport.

To Chris Paul, family is everything. CP3 honors his granddad with the latest makeup of his third signature sneaker with Jordan Brand, the Jordan CP3.III.

Nathaniel Jones, Chris’ granddad, was the first African-American to own a gas station in all of North Carolina. Known by many in Winston-Salem as “Jones’ Chevron”, the Chevron station opened in the middle of the civil rights movement in 1964. Because of his trust and spirit, Jones became a legend in the area.

Chris Paul enjoyed many summers working at his granddad’s gas station working the cash register, rotating tires, and changing air filters. Much beyond their time at the station, Chris and his granddad had a very close relationship. Nathaniel Jones was at CP’s side from the time he was playing youth basketball all the way to sitting at his side as he signed his letter of intent to play for the hometown college of Wake Forest.

Tragically the day after being at his grandson’s side while signing for Wake Forest, Nataniel Jones was murdered at the age of 61. Chris Paul scored 61 points in his first game after his granddad’s passing – one point for each year of his life. Chris continues to pay respect and honor his granddad with details on each of his signature shoes with Jordan Brand including this special edition honoring the station.

Vans Vault Old Skool LX “New York Yankees”

Yesterday, we showed you Vans Vault’s tribute to the 2009 MLB World Series runner up club in the form of the Chukka LX “Philadelphia Phillies”. However, we now take a look at Vans Vault’s tribute to the team everybody seems to love or hate.

The latest installment in the ongoing Opening Day Collection is this Vans Vault Old Skool LX “New York Yankees”. This particular Old Skool LX draws its design cues from the Brooklyn Bombers current ‘Home’ uniforms. A white canvas base is overlayed with an all-over navy blue pinstripe design and is finished with a white, vulcanized rubber sole. Its complimentary attributes include a navy blue inner lining, white shoelaces, and the Yankees logo in navy blue script on the heel. This Old Skool LX, which will be accompanied with a complimentary limited edition Majestic Authentic Jersey, will be available exclusively at DQM in New York on April 13th. Legendary graffiti artist Futura is known around the globe for his incredible work on the streets but his art has gone far past the walls and streets of NY into other mediums. His latest project to release is a limited collaboration between himself, Nike Sportswear, and the New York Yankees.

Futura is very passionate about baseball and especially about the Yankees. His collection celebrates the accomplishments and milestones of the historic baseball organization through a collection of apparel and footwear.

Nike Sportswear has kept the classics coming in strong in 2010. The first three months of the year gave us an unprecedented amount of Air Max 1s, with the 90 lagging just behind in numbers. This next pair, which should hit retailers very soon, is the perfect sneaker for any 49ers fan, even if they have to keep them on ice until Fall.

Team Red leather partners with white mesh to construct the upper. White leather and plastic are implemented on the Swoosh and eyelet pieces, respectively. A gold Air Max unit and liner break up the two-tone look. Be on the lookout for these at your local spot and Nike Store in the coming weeks.

Dwyane Wade Displays Four Air Jordan 2010 PEs

Throughout the second half of this season, Dwyane Wade has been lacing up the Air Jordan Air Wade 2010 night in and night out. Only one colorway (Black/Varsity Red-White) has released to the public so far, yet, Wade reminds us, via Twitter, that there are many more Air Jordan 2010 colorways out there. Would you purchase Wade’s Air Jordan 2010 PEs if they ever released?

Recently, Wade posted close-up photos of four of his Air Jordan 2010s PEs on Twitter. Each PE seems to, not only possess a unique colorway, but also own a different texture makeup as well. The one shown above features a black/red color scheme done up in patent leather/leather. Wade stated that he only wore these one time this season. There is a similar colorway, shown after the jump, that a black/black-red color scheme done up in suede. Wade said, “When MJ seen these he said he didn’t have them yet…”

The new Asics GT-II “Northern Liites” sneaker took inspiration from the Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis phenomenon, a light show creating a black to multicolored sky transformation that occurs at night throughout the Winter in the northern hemisphere. Asics and Hanon developed the same pattern with this GT-II having a Black premium suede base combined with full grain leather, air flow mesh, and scotchlite overlays featuring Purple, Red, Yellow, Green, and White accents. As we transition from jeans to shorts weather, it’s important to have a sneaker that can work with either look. Not long ago we saw the debut of the adidas Originals TF Stan Smith and Superstar II, which could change in drastic ways. Now hitting retailers is this Nizza Hi, which can easily become a Nizza Lo.

Sitting on a white sole and toe cap, the upper’s are all grey, with the exception of the three black stripes along the side. Matching eyelets appear in the midfoot. Lace the grey laces all the way up and you have yourself a high top, while a halfway laced sneaker and a quick fold results in a unique low-cut silhouette and reveals a yellow liner.

Yesterday, we showed you a Nike Dunk High that featured a mainly leather base combined with a mesh-like synthetic material. Those of you who commented, really took a liking to the multi-textured upper; however, we have spotted yet another Dunk High that possesses the same texture but in sort of a reverse makeup.

This Nike Dunk High, exclusively created for the women, owns a primarily speed yellow upper with the black mesh-like synthetic material on the side panels, collar area and toe box. If you recall, the previously-mentioned medium grey/royal blue Dunk owns the synthetic texture throughout the upper except on the side panels, collar area and toe box. Nonetheless, this Dunk also contains a white midsole, a speed yellow outsole and cool mint-colored shoelaces. Available now at SneakersnStuff.

Yesterday, we checked out a unique glow in the dark adidas Campus 80s. No photos of the shoe in natural light were made available, so speculation was our only option. Today though, photos of the three stripes classic in regular light were released, revealing these all-whites.

As noted above, there is not much to say about this shoe when the lights are on. Using an all leather build, they appear to be all white. As a part of “The Unforeseen” Pack, these are partnered with a navy blue Gazelle 80s we saw previous and a Spezial. Look for these at select retailers soon.

We have already spotted numerous MLB teams being represented in the form of Vans Vault’s Opening Day Collection; however, Supra has now released its own, homewtown, Major League Baseball-inspired sneaker in the form of this Supra Dixon “LA Dodgers”.

The Supra Dixon “LA Dodgers” simply features a 100% royal blue colored base comprised of canvas and suede. Specifically, suede makes up the majority of the base, while the canvas sections appear on the collar, heel and tongue. Monochromatic elements, such as the shoelaces and Supra branding coincide perfectly with the outsole of the same color. Other features include a black-stitched, grey Suprafoam midsole, a royal blue inner lining and the word, ‘Dixon’ across the heel in grey writing. The Supra Dixon “LA Dodgers” is available exclusively at Zumiez now for $60.

The Nike Air 180’s 2010 colorways have popped up numerous times in the past few weeks, and have begun to hit retailers, though only overseas at this time. Our international readers will love that these tow colorways have landed at Size?, and hopefully our stateside readers will soon be able to rejoice about them being available at their local spot.

Both pairs utilize the classic mix of white suede and durasheen for their uppers, with separate accent color combinations. The first utilizes a teal and orange combo, while the second pairs black and Cyber yellow. Many ‘heads are waiting on an Aquamarine retro, but without confirmation just yet, these two pairs may be your best options for a summertime Air 180.

Kicks On Court: Duke Duo Steals the Show in Kobe V

Two things have remained constant throughout the last two years of college basketball sneaker-wise: LeBron and Kobe signature sneakers. Isn’t it odd how two players that skipped college can have such a great impact in the NCAA ranks today? With that said, check out today’s Kicks On Court to see what Nolan Smith and Kyle Singler wore to finish the season off in fashion.

In a down-to-the-wire win against the Butler Bulldogs, Duke duo Nolan Smith and Kyle Singler sported Duke’s Nike Zoom Kobe V PEs. If you recall, we showed you detailed photos of this blue/black-white Kobe V at the beginning of February. In addition, Duke’s Jon Scheyer laced up a Nike Air Max Hyperize from the “Final Four” Pack and Lance Thomas rocked an Air Max LeBron VII from the “Cool Grey” Pack. If you’ve lost track of Drew Gooden, you’re probably not alone. Dallas acquired him, and then traded him to Washington, who then immediately traded him to the Clippers. Nike is still working on his LA-inspired Hypermax surely, but what we have here is a look at his Dallas PE.

White leather is used for the majority of the upper, with Flywire interjecting at the quarter panel. Navy blue is used as the base, while a lighter blue thread spans the length of the panel. That same blue is used for the liner. Half of the ankle strap utilizes a navy blue patent leather build, which further matches the midsole.
