Who else welcomes sneaker after sneaker from the ongoing LIVESTRONG x Nike collection? Following the pair of LIVESTRONG x Nike Air Max Tailwinds that released in February, we now inform you of the Lunarfly+ and the LunarGlide+ available at Nike’s online store now. Obviously, both lightweight sneakers possess the iconic black/yellow color scheme; yet, each pair owns a unique, multi-textured base. The Nike Lunarfly+ is comprised mainly of mesh in black and neutral grey. The latter color is seen throughout the toe area and on the tongue. As for the LunarGlide+, it also features multiple sections of black mesh; however, a yellow flywire design appears on the side panels. Both are finished with a yellow Lunar Foam sole, a silver Swoosh and a black inner lining. As stated earlier, both are now available at select retailers nationwide. | Nike Air Max 90 Infrared 2010 Sample Posted: 08 Apr 2010 12:43 PM PDT News of a return of the Nike Air Max 90 Infrared retro pleased more than its fair share of readers and sneaker collectors. The news was great to have, but this is our first look at an actual 2010 version of the classic sneaker, even if it’s still a sample. These are a perfect reproduction of the OG shoe. The mudguard is black leather, the toe and mid-panel grey suede and the toe box white mesh. Infrared is found on the lower plastic midfoot, outsole toe, Air Max window surround and heel panel. We know these will release in July at select retailers, but if you want to get a jump on the rest, these samples are now available on eBay. Vans Vault has already shown love to one MLB team in Chi-Town by unveiling the Vans Vault Chukka LX "Chicago White Sox" a couple of weeks ago. However, Vans Vault recognizes that everybody in Chicago is not White Sox fan. With that said, take a look at the Vans Vault Chukka LX “Chicago Cubs”. Much like the previously-mentioned White Sox sneaker, Vans used the Chukka LX for their tribute to the Chicago Cubs. This Chukka LX draws its color inspiration from the Cubs current alternate jerseys. Blue suede smothers the entire upper with minimal details such as white shoelaces, a red line design just above the vulcanized sole and a Cubs logo on the lateral panel. It is also finished with a white inner lining and blue/red Vans branding on the heel. This Chukka LX will release on April 12th exclusively at St. Alfred (12PM). | Air Jordan 2010 Coming to NikeiD? Posted: 08 Apr 2010 11:33 AM PDT Just recently NikeiD celebrated a decade of providing consumers the ability to have a one of a kind footwear experience. Since it’s inception there have been many anxiously waiting for the Air Jordan series to make it’s way to the service. While Steve Jobs was showing off the new iPhone 4.0 OS experience including mobile ads, several new apps were on display including what appears to be Jordan Brand’s latest move in technology. Besides the History of Flight story being told through the app, it appears that the Air Jordan 2010 will be available to multitask with the NikeiD application. Nothing at this point has been confirmed by Jordan Brand publicly about the Air Jordan 2010 making its way to NikeiD, but will this be the catalyst to gain more acceptance for the new silhouette? This would in fact be the first model from the flagship to make its way to NikeiD. Thanks Adam. An all-white patent leather mudguard gets help from an equally clean all-white upper. Despite speculation about the eventual presence of an embroidered Jumpman logo on the ankle, the official release shoe will not feature one, it seems. An icy clear outsole finishes the build. Many of you were very impressed with the design details incorporated in the sak x Converse Chuck Taylor collection we showed you at the end of March. Although those Chuck Taylors were $600-$700 and available in limited qualities, we have now spotted a more attainable Chuck Taylor collection that is now available. Converse hooked up with UK retailer for this special collaborative effort dubbed the Converse Chuck Taylor “Parachute” Pack. This two-sneaker pack consists of a Chuck Taylor Hi and a Chuck Taylor Low both dressed in a parachute nylon texture. The Chuck Taylor Hi features an all-black nylon base with minimal yellow hints on the heel and sole. The low-top Chuck Taylor is finished with a metallic silver nylon texture and owns blue and red accents in the same sections. Both pairs own complimentary attributes including white laces, silver laceholders and white rubber toe caps. Available now at Offspring. | Nike Lunar Rejuven8 Mid Black/White & Purple/White Posted: 08 Apr 2010 09:43 AM PDT The Nike Lunar Rejuven8 Mid has been spotted in two more colorways for Summer. Though the Torch-consctructed silhouette hasn’t been around long, we’ve always seen an innumerable amount of color-ups, including some inspired by the World Cup. These two have no team affiliations, but might still be the perfect pair to throw on after a game of soccer, or hoops, or any other sport. Both shoes rely on the standard Torch construction, and get help from a textile material on the midfoot, heel and Swoosh. The first is all black, while the second relies on two shades of purple.
