| Nike Air Max LeBron VII “Hardwood Classics” Posted: 09 Apr 2010 12:58 PM PDT In the midst of LeBron free agency talks, Playoffs predictions and discussion about the dismal recent history of the New York Knicks, a third colorway of the Air Max Lebron VII “Hardwood Classics” has surfaced online. Sure, we know that the blue, orange and white colorways were created to match the throwback Cavs uniforms, but it does seem as though Nike really enjoys the discussion and controversy these instantly generate. For now though, we’ll consider only this amazing pair of sneakers. Nubuck wraps around the mudguard on these, immediately separating them from every AMLVII we’ve seen, save for Clark Kent’s “112″ version. The whole upper is royal blue, and the panels surrounding the Flywire are also nubuck. The white Swoosh is outlined in orange and has been treated to the splatter treatment, which coincides nicely with the Max Air unit’s orange bubble and white splatters. Sadly, these will probably be only ever seen on the feet of LeBron, his friends or Nike employees, but for the moment, we can enjoy this lone picture. | Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “Navy-Aqua” Posted: 09 Apr 2010 12:13 PM PDT Ronnie Fieg’s latest creation was previewed just a short time ago, but a lone shot of the toe box was all we had. The collaborating designer has since revealed this look that gives us another look, though still an unsatisfactory one, at these upcoming Asics Gel Lyte IIIs. Navy blue is used for all of the nubuck areas, including the toe, midfoot and heel. Aqua mesh is used elsewhere on the upper, and the same color appears to be the choice hue for the nubuck arches along the side, which are backed with a layer of white. Undefeated and New Balance have collaborated numerous times on various models such as the H574J “Man vs Wild” Pack and the MT580 Patent just to name a couple. In addition, we showed you their latest collaborative effort on the 1500 model which features a very unique color scheme. We now have detailed photos of this joint effort. This particular 1500 features a 100% buttery-soft suede construction colored in light brown and dark brown. Specifically, the predominance of the base is done up in light brown, while the toe area, collar and tongue own a darker tint on the suede. The suede upper sits atop a beige speckled midsole with red and blue hints and is finished with a black outsole. Other interesting elements include a camo print inner lining, red/blue New Balance branding on the tongue and goldenrod shoelaces. No word yet on when this shoe will release; however, stay tuned for additional information regarding this shoe. | Nike Huarache 2010 Taj Gibson PE Posted: 09 Apr 2010 10:43 AM PDT Chicago rookie Taj Gibson has made a number of appearances in Kicks on Court en route to helping Chicago be in position to snag the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, including sporting a pair of Nike Air Max Rise PEs. Taj has since switched to this Huarache 2010 that is, ironically, very similar to the pair worn by Lamarcus Aldridge in the same edition of KOC. Black leather is used along the sides of the upper and around the toe, while red textured neoprene forms the remainder and the sock liner. A white and red sole can be found on the underside for support. The tongue has also been personalized for the USC product, who’s already proven he should have gone long before the 28th pick. Last month, we gave release information regarding a few, upcoming Jordan Spizike colorways such as the “Grape” Jordan Spizike that released last weekend. However, the majority of you stated that you were looking forward to this Jordan Spizike Black/Varsity Red-Stealth that hits retailers on June 5th, 2010. If you’re looking to get your hands on a pair early, we have spotted multiple sizes on ebay now. Its primarily black-colored base is comprised of a shiny, patent leather and features monochromatic cement print on the front of the toe area and on the heel. Other attributes include a varsity red inner lining, a ‘MARS’ debray and a stealth outsole. As stated earlier, you can now place a bid on this particular Jordan Spizike on eBay now. And of course, given the West coast routes of these companies, the Slip-On and Sk8-Hi created for this pack are feature the Vans California label. Both shoes feature black canvas for the majority of their uppers, and feature purple trim on each panel, including the stripes along the sides of the Sk8-Hi. We have seen a slew of Nike Zoom Kobe V iDs on the NBA courts ever since it was made available last December. Players such as DeMar Derozan, Nick Young and Channing Frye all have rocked the Kobe V in their respective team’s colorway. In a win against the Los Angeles Lakers, JR Smith broke the Nuggets franchise record in 3-Pointers made while wearing a gold Nike Zoom Kobe V. His iDs possesses a gold, metallic finish, specifically appearing on the toe and midfoot sections. The primarily gold base is offset with a white midsole and a white Kobe logo on the tongue.
