This Week In Sneaks

Posted: 10 Apr 2010 12:43 PM PDT

This week, photos of an Air Jordan 6 Retro Black/Infrared surfaced on the web; however, it was not just any collection of photos. One of the pics revealed a different product code that features a date stamp just two weeks before the release of the Air Jordan 6 Retro Black/Varsity Reds. Is this the smoking gun? With that said, the Air Jordan 6 Retro “Infrared” Pack looks more and more like a sure thing rather than a rumor.

Whether Nate Robinson was supporting the NBA’s “Green Week” or not, his “Altitude” Air Jordan 13 Retro was undoubtedly the rare find in this week’s Kicks On Court.

Check out some of your favorite celebrities, such as Drake, Jay-Z and Swizz Beatz in this week’s Celebrity Sneaker Stalker.

Fresh off of the heels of the Air Jordan 2 Retro Premio today, we have now spotted another sneaker from the Bin 23 Collection. What are your thoughts on the “Bin 23″ Air Jordan 9 Retro?

We also received release date information regarding the “Silver Anniversary” Air Jordan 11. Is this a definite purchase come May 1st, 2010?

CLOT x Star Wars x adidas Originals Superstar Preview

CLOT has shown its influence on an adidas Originals shoe before. As you recall, Edison Chen and company gave us the Skate High “Hoth.” Chen released this limited preview of their next venture, which appears to be on a Superstar.

From what we can tell, the upper is constructed with black suede, and gets help from red 3M reflective material on the stripes and heel. The contrast stitching also appears to be red. Star Wars branding appears on the underside of the tongue and also at the heel of the midsole. Stay tuned for more looks and information on this upcoming adidas shoe.

Air Jordan 1 Retro Hi Black/Cyber-Blue Sapphire

Posted: 10 Apr 2010 11:13 AM PDT

Air Jordan 1 Retro

The Air Jordan 1 has long been a canvas for tons of inspirations and unique color schemes. We recently received word on an upcoming “Foamposite” Air Jordan 1 Retro that set the comment section ablaze to say the least. On a lesser note, we have spotted a futuristic (color-wise) Air Jordan 1 Retro that is set to release this summer. However, it is now available on eBay in a size 9.

At a first glance, this Air Jordan 1’s complimentary attributes, such as its cyber laces and its blue sapphire swoosh/Jordan Wings logo, undoubtedly pop stand out the most. However, there are other interesting elements within this shoe’s makeup. The toe area, midfoot and collar area possess a speckled-like design, while white contrast stitching appears throughout the entire silhouette. To finish it off, this shoe is complimented with a cyber inner lining, a single-stitched black midsole and a white outsole. As stated earlier, a size 9 is available in an auction on eBay.

atmos x New Balance 574 “A10″

Posted: 10 Apr 2010 10:28 AM PDT

atmos x New Balance A10 "10th Anniversary"

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of atmos, New Balance presented the opportunity to create another sneaker to the Japanese retailer. Working on a 574, the pair designed something a little different than we’re used to seeing, eventually giving it the “A10″ moniker.

Black suede covers the majority of this colorful sneaker, appearing on the toe, midfoot, quarter panels and heel. In the toe box, near the collar and on the side logos, a multicolor plain print is implemented. Teal patent is used near the ankle, and lime can found on the liner. Blue embroidery surrounds the N on the outer sides, as well as the 10 that is sewn into the mid-panels of the medial sides.

Nike Hyperfuse Black/Black-Dark Grey

Posted: 09 Apr 2010 09:58 PM PDT

Nike Hyperfuse

We showcased the “Aqua” Nike Hyperfuse a couple of days, and the comment section was filled with both positive and negative remarks. A lot of you stated that the silhouette is not too shabby, yet, the loud, neck-breaking colorway was not a great look. On the contrary, we have now spotted a more subtle Hyperfuse that is now available in an auction on eBay.

Although the official colorway of this sneaker is black/black-dark grey, it seems as if this Hyperfuse is solely dressed in black leather. However, its dark grey hints are seen on the inner lining and Nike branding on the tongue. The rest of the shoe is done up in black leather with a black ballistic mesh covering over the upper. This lightweight sneaker’s complimentary attributes include a black patent leather swoosh, black shoelaces and a black sole. What are your preliminary thoughts on the Hyperfuse? As stated earlier, you can place a bid on these size 9s now on eBay.
