Jahan Loh x Vans Mountain Mid Preview

Posted: 12 Oct 2009 12:58 PM PDT

Vans Mountain Mid

The Mountain Mid is model that Vans rarely uses, however, when it does surface by way of collaboration, you can expect it to feature very nice designs (see Supreme x Vans Mountain Edition). With that said, check out a sneak peek view at the Jahan Loh x Vans Mountain Mid.

This Mountain Mid marks the second collaboration between Vans and Jahan Loh. It seems to contain a black/purple color scheme with distinctive features such as a skull head (tongue) and snakeskin straps on the midfoot area. No word yet on when this shoe will release; however, what are your thoughts on this Mountain Mid preview?

Saucony Jazz Low Pro Vegan

Saucony Jazz Low Pro Vegan

Be kind to Mother Earth in these Saucony Jazz Low Pro Vegans. Made of natural hemp canvas, these runners might just be Woody Harrelson’s dream sneakers.

The toe and heel caps, as well as the midfoot use a tight weave canvas while the remainder looks more like a potato sack. And if you’re going to design a shoe with all natural materials, of course it has to be done in all natural colors, which these definitely are. Four pairs are available currently in brown/tan/green, green/tan, stone grey/navy and black/stone grey. Hippies and sneakerheads alike can pick these up at Solebox now and help conserve nature, or the rest of their collection.

Jordan Flight 45 High Black/White

Posted: 12 Oct 2009 11:58 AM PDT

Jordan Flight 45

When we showed you the first colorway of the Jordan Flight 45 High, there were both positive and negative remarks about this sneaker. Some of you labeled it an Air Yeezy bite, while others stated that it was just a pretty nice sneaker. We now have spotted a second Jordan Flight 45 High for you to roast or receive with open arms.

Obviously, this particular pair possesses a rather simpler makeup than the first colorway. The predominately black base is comprised of suede and nubuck combined with a black midsole and a white outsole. The latter area is also assisted by a Jumpman logo seen on the tongue. This Jordan Flight 45 may be a better look for those of you who were disgusted by the first colorway seeing that it features a more subtle makeup. Click here to view detailed photos.

Deathwish x Supra Vega & Dixon

Posted: 12 Oct 2009 11:28 AM PDT

deathwishxsupra-lead

Deathwish Skateboards has partnered with Supra on a number of collaborations, including the red suede Thunder we saw last week. We thought that shoe may have been a one-off release, but it turns out the two companies have paired on a whole collection, including two shirts, the Thunder mentioned above and these two other Supras, the Vega and Dixon.

The Dixon here uses an all black make-up, including the sole, upper and liner. The toe and heel section are solid black suede, while the mid-panels use a black-on-black Deathwish repeat print. The Vega adds a little color, breaking up the darkness with red accents and a white sole. The uppers are very similar, with the addition of the repeat print on the toe, though they keep the black suede panels as well. A 3/4 sleeve baseball shirt and t-shirt both feature the “Supra has a Deathwish” tag, completing the collection, which should be headed to your favorite retailer soon.

Ransom x adidas Footwear Collection

Ransom x Adidas Valley Lo

Over the past couple of months, we have shown you the multiple sneakers that were created by adidas and Toronto clothing store Ransom including the Valley Lo and the Originals Pier. However, we now have the spotted the entire fall/winter collection from both sides.

The collection features an abundance of subtle-colored, boot-inspired sneakers and boots for the most part. It is safe to say this lineup was made for the outdoor wear more than anything. One of the more interesting features about these five new models is that the three stripes logo is nowhere to be found on the base. What are your thoughts on this Ransom x adidas Footwear Collection? Click here to view detailed photos.

Also, check out an interview with Matthew Langille as he elaborates on the aforementioned collection here.

American Original Woolrich x Converse All-Star

Posted: 12 Oct 2009 10:28 AM PDT

The Converse All-Star has been done and seen in a seemingly endless array of colors, patterns and material treatments, and it’s rare that the simple doesn’t prove best. Converse paired with Woolrich outdoor clothing company for these Chucks, changing the make-up and adding in some small details to give them a rugged and clean look.

As you can see right away, the traditional canvas uppers were switched out for a blue and black flannel. And of course, these feature the standard white vulcanized sole, but a noticeable change is the switch from a white toe cap to black, which better matches the uppers. The laces also appear to be waxed, adding durability and a little gloss to them. If you’re a Converse fan, you can grab these for this coming Winter starting now.
