Nike Air Max 1 White/Orange Blaze Sample

Nike Air Max 1 White/Orange Blaze Sample

This fast-approaching Spring season has promised some solid releases from the Nike Sportswear line. We’ve seen Dunks aplenty already drop, but only one Air Max 1 has hit shelves. This similar shoe was designed, but unfortunately, doesn’t look as though it will release.

This White/Orange Blaze colorway is currently only available as a sample on eBay. Grey nubuck is used on the mid-panel and heel, while the bright accent is used elsewhere. Orange Blaze is used on the mudguard, liner and Swoosh, and jumps off of the white mesh base. Yellow is also used as an accent on the tongue label logo, double-eyelet and the Air Max bag. Unfortunately, a size 9 is the only shoe available as of now, but would you grab a pair if they dropped?

Vans Half Cab "City Pack" Philadelphia

Following the release of the Vans “City Pack” Old Skool and Mid Skool dedicated to Barcelona, the City of Brotherly Love is paid tribute with this Half Cab.

These are paired up with a 106, which we checked out in the complete pack preview. Grey suede is used for the entire upper. A black tongue is also used for contrast. The Philadelphia tribute is seen on the liner, as it shows the Phillies’ pinstripes. The reddish maroon color is seen again on the ankle label and also the vulcanized sole’s stripe.

Nike KD II Supreme “2010 NBA All-Star”

Posted: 01 Feb 2010 11:28 AM PST

Nike KD2

A couple of weeks ago, we showed you the 2010 NBA All-Star Nike basketball lineup, and a lot of you inquired about release information. We have just received word that the Nike KD II Supreme “2010 NBA All-Star” is now available at overseas retailers such as Kix-Files.

At a first glance, the “2010 NBA All-Star” Nike KD II Supreme looks exactly like the “Creamsicle” Nike KD IIs that released at House of Hoops in mid-January. However, this particular contains its own distinctive attributes. Although it owns the same red-orange base color, the All-Star edition features  black accents on the strap and swoosh. To finish it off, this shoe is also complimented with an icy sole. As stated earlier, you can now purchase a pair at Kix-Files. Click here to view more photos.

Video: Nike Cortez “Year of the Tiger”

Posted: 01 Feb 2010 10:58 AM PST

To highlight the upcoming Cortez “Year of the Tiger,” Nike Sportswear put together this video. The short clip is centered around the print that covers the uppers of the shoe, and even demonstrates how the special box, which goes on sale on February 10th, works. It features a “tiger claw” opening that must be gripped and pulled with 5 fingers to open the container. If you’re not a fan of the shoe design, the box alone deserves some attention.

Nike Air Max Hyperize Detailed Photos

Posted: 01 Feb 2010 10:28 AM PST

Nike Air Max Hyperize

The Air Max LeBron VII and the Hyperize are two Nike basketball sneakers that have garnered a lot of attention to say the least. They are easily two of the more sought-after Nike basketball sneakers on the market today. Therefore, Nike decided to sort of fuse both models together and call it the Nike Air Max Hyperize.

Specifically, this shoe simply owns the Hyperize upper and a full-length Air Max 360 sole unit that is seen on the Air Max LeBron VII. With that said, this shoe will presumably be one of the more player-friendly sneakers ever when it releases this summer. The lightweight capapcity of Hyperize combined with the comfortability of the Air Max LeBron VII should be second to none. As for the colorway, it draws inspiration from the Lithuania team (they placed Silver) that USA beat in the championship game 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics. Nike will release several colorways of the Nike Air Max Hyperize this summer including this colorway. What are your thoughts on the Nike Air Max Hyperize? Click here to view more photos.

A lot of NBA greats remain associated with their respective colleges. For Kobe Bryant, who forewent college to go to the league, he remains close to Lower Merion High School. During a recent trip to his alma mater, Kobe unveiled the Lower Merion PE version of his latest signature sneaker.

This Nike Zoom Kobe V utilizes the Aces’ color scheme, as silver is used on the mid-panel Flywire and toe box. Maroon appears on the midfoot, forefoot, laces and liner. Matching the white midsole is the toe cap. Kobe spent some time during his visit, debuting the shoe and shooting around at his old stomping ground.
