There were many rumors circulating around the web last week in regards to the “Copper” Nike Air Foamposite release date. However, whether it was a contract dispute, weather problem or simply a typical push back of a release date, the “Copper” Nike Air Foamposite will officially release on February 13th, 2010.
This highly anticipated sneaker will retail for $200 just a day before Valentine’s Day. Many of you have definitely stated that this is a must-have upon its release. How does the “Copper” Foamposites rank amongst all of the other Foamposite releases (see our 15 Favorite Foamposites).
The Nike Trainer SC 2010 has dropped in a number of color-ups to date, but a certain two-pack is stealing all the attention. When we first saw the 20th Anniversary Pack, “When?” “Where?” and “How much?” were all readers wanted to know.
In response to the above, “Wednesday,” “Nikestore.com and select retailers,” and “$250.” Two shoes have been designed, as you know, for Bo Jackson and Albert Pujols. Also included in the pack is a pair of Nike Dri-Fit socks in the same colors as the “Albert Knows” shoe. One pair dons an updated “Auburn” color-up, while the other uses tan leather with navy and maroon accents. Make sure to grab your pack on February 10th.
It’s been awhile since we have heard from the MVPuppets. With that said, we expect to hear from them a lot more when the playoffs began. Meanwhile, a new installment of Nike’s best commercial right now has surfaced. This time, LeBron is the center of attention as he shows us his many handshakes with the new Zydrunas Illgauskas puppet. Other cameos include Kobe Bryant MVPuppet and a George Gervin MVPuppet.
It seems like it’s been quite some time since we last saw this Air Maxim 1 Torch. A sample size 9 popped up on eBay, but it looks like Nike has chosen to go through with production.
Like the first released pair of Torch-featuring Air Maxim 1s, black is used for both the cloth build and the mid-panel Flywire. Club Purple appears on the Swoosh, eyelets and tongue. Aquamarine laces match up with the liner and heel logo. Finally, a gum outsole finishes these off. These should be available widely sometime soon, but you can grab an early pair now from Dunk.
At the beginning of this year, we reported on a new Vans silhouette dubbed the Native American Binding that resembles the Switchback. While we continue to wait on the Native American Binding, we now have spotted a Switchback available at Vans’s online store for $120.
This two-toned Switchback is comprised of orange and maroon premium leather with the latter seen throughout the toe area. This boot-like sneaker is complimented with a white, vulcanized rubber sole and possesses a boot-like lacing construction. As stated earlier, you can now purchase this Switchback at Vans’s online store.
Asics went avant garde for the next three Doubleclutch releases. Donning exotic-look materials and bright colors, all three shoes are sue to grab some looks.
The first pair utilizes white perforated leather all over. Pewter textured leather is used on the heel, ankle and tongue tab to add a little color to the most simple of the three colorways. The second dons bright yellow leather with black accents. Finally black leather is complimented with pink and snakeskin attributes. This silhouette uses two zippers on the heel portion, making for quick access without having to mess with the laces.
