Nike Dunk High Dark Army/Orange Blaze-Mint

Nike Dunk High Dark Army/Orange Blaze-Mint

The gingham Dunk is back. Continuing with the wave of Nikes featuring this picnic tablecloth-like material, this High has recently been made available. We recently saw a solid black canvas Dunk Low use gingham for its liner, as well as a High that used the same color blocking as this one.

Dark Army denim is in place on the toe, toe box, midfoot and heel foxing, providing a dark base for the upper. Mint gingham fills in the remainder of said upper, appearing at the quarter panel and on the collar. Oranze Blaze leather was chosen for the Swoosh, matching the cloth liner and nylon tongue. Head over to Finish Line now if you’re after a pair of your own.

Posted: 13 Apr 2010 11:58 AM PDT

We have shown you the Nike LeBron VII P.S. on a number of occasions within the past month. Although it has not garnered as much attention as the Nike Air Max LeBron VII, it is still a very nice sneaker according to your comments. At the end of March, we learned of a late April release regarding this sneaker; yet, a few sizes are now available on eBay.

Most of you have stated that the black/red-white Nike LeBron VII P.S. is undoubtedly the best one so far, however, this white/midnight navy-sport red colorway is not too bad either. a blue, red and white flywire design covers the side panels, while a midnight navy hints appear on the sole and quilted-like inner lining. Expect to see James and some of his teammates rocking this sneaker in the playoffs. As stated earlier, you can now obtain this sneaker via eBay.

Infrared will apparently be a very popular colorway within the Nike vault this summer. The “Infrared” Nike Air 90s will make a return this summer, and rumors of an “Infrared” Air Jordan 6 Retro Pack have had the internet ablaze as of late. On a lesser note, we have spotted a new Air Max Triax ‘94 that features the ever-so-popular infrared color scheme.

Nike SB Dunk Low “Marvin The Martian”

Nike SB Dunk Low "Marvin The Martian"

This Nike SB Dunk Low has landed at overseas retailers, and with any luck, will be at your local skate and sneaker spot soon. This pair draws inspiration from classic cartoon character Marvin The Martian, as is evident in its colorway.

Though the color palette is similar is somewhat similar to the “Gucci” look, a large mustard yellow Swoosh combines with the heel tab to add some additional accent work. The leather shows a texture similar to Safari, but seems to instead stem from craters. Green suede covers the foxing, midfoot and toe, similar to Marvin’s space skirt and helmet. A red outsole is used just like his actual sneakers, and the perforated leather fills out the upper to represent for Marvin’s nondescript face. Do you plan to grab a pair of these SBs when they hit stateside shops?

Kicks On Court: Mayo Maxes Out in New Nike Hybrid

Posted: 13 Apr 2010 08:58 AM PDT

During the 2009-2010 NBA season, many of the Nike Brand members have debuted new sneakers such as the Zoom Flip’n, the Air Max Rise and the Blue Chip II. However, just when we thought there would be anymore Nike sneaker debuts, one of the Memphis Grizzlies wore one of Nike’s newly-designed hybrids last night. With that said, check out today’s Kicks On Court to see this new sneaker.

In a loss against the Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies guard OJ Mayo became the first player to debut the fairly-new Nike Air Max A Lot. This particular sneaker is simply a hybrid that pays tribute to Scottie Pippen’s legendary signature line. It obviously draws some of its design cues from some of Pippen’s signature shoes as well as shoes most people remember him playing in that were not necessarily his signature kicks. For example, the enlarged ‘AIR’ on the side reminds many of the classic Air More Uptempo and the midsole stripe was first seen on the Nike Air Pippen II. As for Mayo’s Max A Lot PEs, they own a mainly black leather upper with yellow and sky blue accents throughout the base; his PEs undoubtedly coincide with the Grizzlies jerseys. Click here to view these kicks plus more worn by Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and others.

CLOT x Star Wars x adidas Originals Superstar "Darksidestars"

Edison Chen’s CLOT crew designed this Superstar as a continuation of the Star Wars x adidas Originals Collection, which has brought out the fanboys in us all since its inception. We got a small sneak peek of these “Darksidestars” about a week ago, revealing the basic color blocking. Now we have these detailed photos of the shoes, as well as two t-shirts designed as a part of the collaboration.

Black suede is used for the upper, matching the midsole and rubber toe cap. A red semi-translucent outsole matches up with the stitching and eyelets. The heel panel and three stripes along the side are also red, but are made with 3M Reflective. A Darth Vader outline can be seen near the heel on the lateral side.
