Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 by Ramon Cerda

Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 by Ramon Cerda

Ramon Cerda’s Bespoke Air Force 1s recently made their way to 21 Mercer from the Feng Tay plant, and now are making their way to your computer screen. Ramon kept his material selection pretty simple, but was able to utilize a healthy amount of colors for his 1-of-1s.

Blue suede surround the toe and midfoot and even appears on the heel. Filling in the toe box and quarter panels is a highly reflective silver leather that borders on patent. Suede is used again on the heel area, but is a deep grey. The Swoosh backing layer is a silver leather that shows a red splatter or “worn” look and is complemented with midsole detailing and on the tongue and heel stripe. Safari also makes a brief appearance on the tongue tab. How do you feel about these Bespokes? Do they beat out his last pair, the “Rotten Apples”?

Peak Jason Richardson Signature

Peak Jason Richardson Signature

Jason Richardson started the 2009-2010 NBA season in the Nike Hyperize, but it looks as though he’s the latest player to sign with a non-major US sneaker company, as he recently revealed that he is now a signature athlete for Peak.

Richardson debuted the shoes’ still shots with his Twitter account, showing both home and away colorways. The shoes feature perforated leather on the upper near the midfoot and ankle, while a panel swoops upward from the sole toward the toes. Snakeskin covers the toes of both color-ups and purple helps on the liner of the white pair. A JR logo was designed and can be seen on the heel of each shoe. Hopefully more information and details of this new silhouette will be made available, so stay tuned to Nice Kicks.

Air Jordan 9 Retro “Citrus”

Posted: 14 Apr 2010 10:28 AM PDT

If you recall, we dubbed this Air Jordan 9 Retro “Citrus” our #10 sneaker in our 10 Sneakers We’re Looking Forward to in 2010. We stated that 2010 would be the ‘year of the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 9′, and it is turning out to be just that. Following the Air Jordan 9 Retro White/Black-University Blue release information we gave you yesterday, we now have learned that the “Citrus” Air Jordan 9 Retro will release on July 3rd, 2010.

This particular Air Jordan 9 Retro features a few design cues that have never been associated with Jordan’s ninth signature sneaker. For example, a glossy, black 3M piecing appears just above the midsole and along the collar section. The rest of the base is done up in black leather and sits atop a white outsole. However, its most glaring features appear in the form of the citrus colored hints seen on the heel, tongue, outsole and inside of the tongue. As stated earlier, this Air Jordan 9 Retro “Citrus” will hit retailers on July 3rd, 2010. Is this one of the better Air Jordan 9 Retro colorways seen in awhile? Click here to view detailed photos.

Nike Dunk Low iD (Product)RED

A few months back, a very special Nike Dunk Low was spotted during a charity event. Labeled a (Product)RED release, that Dunk is yet to surface again. However, a different color-up promoting the same cause and sporting a similar look has been made available at 21 Mercer recently.

This sneaker features metallic silver leather around the toe, midfoot and heel. On the last portion, red stitching is displayed in a fashion similar to the paneling on a soccer ball.Off-white leather fills out the remainder of the upper, and a red Swoosh is put to work, as is a matching outsole. Head down to the Nike Sportswear mecca and buy a pair and 8% of all retail sales will benefit the Global Fund and other soccer-based programs focused on eradicating AIDS in Africa.

Kicks On Court: Carmelo Unveils New Jordan Melo 6 in Last Game

Posted: 14 Apr 2010 08:58 AM PDT

The Denver Nuggets are one of the few teams that concluded their regular season last night. While we wait to see what specific players will wear during the 2010 playoffs, Carmelo Anthony revealed a new Jordan Melo M6 in his last game of the regular season. Check out today’s Kicks On Court to see Anthony’s new colorway of his sixth signature sneaker.

In a blowout loss to the Phoenix Suns, Carmelo Anthony laced up a black/yellow colorway of the Jordan Melo M6. This particular PE seems to feature a primarily black colored upper comprised of leather and patent leather; the latter material appears just above the single-stitched midsole. The yellow hints, seen on the outsole, Carmelo Anthony/Jordan Brand branding and inner lining, give this shoe a nice color contrast. How does this Jordan Melo M6 rank amongst the previous colorways seen? Click here to view these kicks plus more worn by Derrick Rose, Amare Stoudemire, Paul Pierce and others.
