Air Jordan 1 Phat Low White/White-Vibrant Yellow

Air Jordan 1 Phat Low White/White-Vibrant Yellow

Another pair of Air Jordan 1 Phat Lows has been spotted, and it’s sporting a simple but bright colorway perfectly suited for Summer. Like a pair of Highs we saw recently, these rely on a neutral base and yellow for their looks.

Pearl white patent covers the entire upper, adding a unique look beyond just simple leather. The midsole is Vibrant Yellow, which immediately catches the attention of passers-by. A tinted translucent outsole adds a nice detail to these, as do the lace loops embroidered with yellow threads on the tongue of each shoe.

Nike Blazer ND Turbo Green/Navy & Pink/Grey

Posted: 27 Apr 2010 12:58 PM PDT

Much like the ever-so-popular Air Force 1, the Nike Blazer continues to take on a slew of different styles, colorways and texture makeups. Recently, we have came across a pinstripe Blazer AC Low, two Blazer ACG Mids and two vintage Blazer Hi colorways. In addition, Nike has just unleashed two Blazer NDs at select retailers including Proper.

One pair owns a mostly turbo green upper that features a grid-like attribute. This eye-catching color scheme is accompanied by a clean, white vulcanized sole and navy blue laces and tongue branding. The remaining Blazer ND, created exclusively for the women, possesses the same pattern; yet, it owns a mainly pink upper with minimal grey hints. As stated earlier, both are now available at Proper.

Video: Steve Jobs Gives Mark Parker & Nike Advice

Posted: 27 Apr 2010 12:28 PM PDT

In a recent interview with Fast Company, Nike President & CEO Mark Parker revealed some interesting advice given to him by Apple founder Steve Jobs. While one may expect any words shared between two corporate heavyweights to be rather detailed and specific, Jobs’ words were anything but.

Parker goes to on to make the point that one of his goals at Nike is to do just what Jobs advised him to do and clean up the quality of products designed with the Swoosh on them. Could the leading footwear producer in the world be taking a step to improve quality company-wide?

Jordan Rare Air White Cement

Posted: 27 Apr 2010 11:58 AM PDT

The majority of you have expressed your discontent with new Jordan models such as the Jordan Accolades and the Jordan Flight 9. However, we have spotted yet another new Jordan Brand model that is set to appear during the holiday season of 2010 tentatively titled the Jordan Rare Air.

The newly-designed Jordan Rare Air is simply a hybrid that owns several qualities derived from models such as Air Jordan III, the Air Jordan IV, the Air Jordan V and the Air Jordan VI. Specifically, the overall silhouette is very reminiscent to the Air Jordan VI, while the cement print attributes remind us of the Air Jordan III. In addition, Air Jordan IV elements are present on the Jordan Rare Air’s black side wall, and the hind part of the midsole is similar to the Air Jordan V. As stated earlier, this white cement Jordan Rare Air is set to release some time during the holiday season. What are your thoughts on the new Jordan Rare Air? Hit the jump to view detailed photos.

Nike Trainer SC 2010 White/Varsity Red-Obsidian

Nike Trainer SC 2010 White/Varsity Red-Obsidian

It seems that anyone who puts their foot in the Nike Trainer SC 2010 can’t help but rave about them. The revamped shoe has been seen in a variety of color-ups and material treatments, including the all-leather “Baseball Glove” shoe that just dropped yesterday. This next pair reverts back to the mesh design, perfect for those days you have to hit the gym before you hit the beach.

There may be no Olympics this year, but these may be perfect for wearing when you support the USA soccer team, thanks to their Obsidian blue and Varsity Red accents. Varsity Maize gets in on the act too, appearing on the Air bubble and top eyelet. White is used for the mesh of the upper, as well as the Flywire along the sides. These can be pre-ordered now at Eastbay, with an expected ship date of Monday the 3rd of May.

Footwear Faceoff: LaMarcus Aldridge vs Jared Dudley

Posted: 27 Apr 2010 10:58 AM PDT

Earlier today, our Kicks On Court highlighted LaMarcus Aldridge, one of the only Nike Air Max Hyperize wearers in the NBA today. His PEs were designed by a kid from the Friends of Children’s Organization in Portland, Oregon. While his PEs undoubtedly owned Kicks On Court today, we spotted a Nike Hyperize that may be just as nice.

Phoenix Suns forward Jared Dudley laced up a white/purple-orange colorway of the Nike Hyperize that coincides perfectly with the Suns jerseys. Specifically, his Hyperizes own a mostly white colored base with minimal purple and orange accents on the swoosh, laces, midsole among other places. With that said, who owns the better Nike Basketball PE?

Nike Zoom Kobe V Black/Dark Grey-Varsity Purple

Posted: 27 Apr 2010 10:28 AM PDT

Nike Zoom Kobe V Black/Dark Grey-Varsity Purple

The Nike Zoom Kobe V has been seen in a litany of colorways since it was debuted on Christmas Day. From the “Dark Knight” to the “P.O.P.,” the ZKV has been a hit in Lakers and non-Lakers looks alike. This next pair, which will hit shelves in July, falls into the latter category.

This sneaker is all black, with the exception of the toe, midfoot, Swoosh outline and sock liner, which show a dark grey color. The pattern displayed on the Flywire bits is different than others we’ve seen, which included snake skin. The only bits of Varsity Purple found on the sneaker are on the Kobe signature on the heel and the forefoot outsole bit on the medial side.
