Lately, New York rapper Jim Jones has been a constant topic in hip hop. We recently received word regarding a possible Dipset reunion and the Capo will defend their Converse Band of Ballers title from last year in Atlanta this weekend. However, today we take an in-depth look at another aspect of Jim Jones.

New Balance M1400

Two new colorways of the New Balance 1400 have been spotted, offering a perfect mix of subdued and scintillating, thanks to the option to go with a black- or teal-based look.

The black pair is just that–black. With the exception of the grey tongue and off-white midsole, this pair lets the material composition differentiate them from others. Large-hole mesh can be found on the toe box and tongue of both shoes, while waxed suede is put to work on most of the upper. The heel gets a hit of suede. On the second pair, teal is the majority color, which is contrasted by the dark brown heel and black leather accents. Both pairs are available now at Invincible.

Air Jordan 9 Retro “Citrus”

It is safe to say that a lot of you Jordan heads have July 3rd, 2010 marked on your calender for the release of this “Citrus” Air Jordan 9 Retros. With that said, it is definitely one of the Air Jordan retros to look out for in the coming months along with the Air Jordan 9 Retro White/Citrus-Deep Forest. However, if you cannot wait until the day before Independence Day to purchase this sneaker, you can obtain it early in auctions on eBay in multiple sizes.

The citrus colored accents undoubtedly stand out against the primarily black base. Specifically, these accents appear in the form of the Jumpman logo on the white sole and additional Jordan branding on the tongue and heel. The black, 3M reflective strip, just above the glossy, midsole, also add to this Air Jordan 9’s glamor. As stated earlier, you can now attempt to obtain your “Citrus” Air Jordan 9 Retros early on eBay.

One of the original Asics Gel Lyte III colorways to release is set to do it all over again. Carrying with it its 1991 charm, this color-up is sure to draw just as much attention, if not more, than it did almost 20 years ago.

Grey nubuck appears on the toe, heel and backs the quarter panels arches, while white is the majority color of choice. Yellow helps brighten the shoe further, appearing on the split-tongue and laces. Finally, grey and black are used on the midsole and accent points, respectively. This pair can be yours tomorrow at select retailers.

Nike Air Max 90 White/White-Neutral Grey

This year, the Nike Air Max 90 has seen its fair share of colorways such as the recently-released white/team red-black, the “Avatar Navi” and the “Neons”. Nike has just released yet another Air Max 90 colorway that possesses more of a subtle color design than the previously-mentioned pairs.

The simple, white/white-neutral grey color scheme can simply coincide with any outfit you desire to wear. In addition to the simple colorway, this shoe uses a nice mixture of materials on the base as well. White and neutral grey suede make up the majority of the base; yet, a neutral grey colored premium leather strip appears just above the midsole and the collar is done up in white mesh. To finish it off, this sneaker owns a neutral grey visible Air sole unit, a black outsole and white laces. Available now at Dunk.

Alife Public Naval Canvas Black & White

The Alife Public Naval was spotted in a Summer-ready plaid a few days ago. Today’s sneakers are equally perfect for the coming heat, but rely on simple monochromatic uppers instead.

Canvas is the material of choice for these pairs, just like the similarly-shaped Vans Era. Black and white are the current color offerings, with both kicks relying on similar attributes. Those details include the white vulcanized soles, tan leather liners and white leather laces. Unlike the aforementioned pair, these haven’t been spotted at a stateside retailer just yet, but keep an eye on any of your local spots now.

Supra “Nylon” Pack

Yesterday, we showed you detailed photos of the Skytop II from the recently-released Supra Summer Injection lineup, and those who commented really took a liking towards this shoe. In addition, we now have additional photos and a closer look at the TK Society, the Thunder Hi and the Thunder Low from the aforementioned Supra Summer Injection lineup.

Each of the three models contain a 100% black-colored base constructed of a two-tone, rip-stop nylon construction material. The lighter nylon tone appears throughout the toe and along the midfoot, while the rest of the sneaker is done up in a darker nylon tone. Complimentary features include green laces and a white, vulcanized rubber sole with green hints. Available now at Factory 413.
