Nike All Court Low Vintage

Posted: 20 May 2010 12:28 PM PDT

The Nike All Court has been nothing less than a surprise this year. Nike brought this sneaker back in full force after sparingly releasing it the past few years. Some of the better Nike All Courts we have seen this year include midnight navy, hot lime and birch; however, what are your thoughts on the soon-to-be-released Nike All Court Vintage colorways?

As we have stated in previous posts, the vintage elements seem to be a love/hate attribute within the sneaker community (see Is the Stained Sole a Clean Look). The two Nike All Court Vintage colorways will above will hit select retailers pretty soon. Both pairs contain a mainly white canvas base, with monochromatic features such as the laces and inner lining. One All Court possesses a red canvas swoosh, while the other owns a green canvas swoosh. Yet, the most glaring attribute is obviously the stained sole that gives this shoe an old-fashioned look. Both Nike All Court Lows are available for pre-order at End.

Offspring x Vans Authentic Pack

Posted: 20 May 2010 11:58 AM PDT

Recently, Vans and UK retailer Offspring joined efforts and created a two-set of the Vans Era model. Both colorways featured a springy feel as colors such as purple, yellow and teal were used. Both sides have hooked up once again; this time, the Authentic is the canvas for their joint illustration.

One pair contains a dark grey complexion offset by red shoelaces and red piping along the white, vulcanized rubber sole. The other pair possesses a light grey colored base that reminds us of sweatshirt material. Blue piping encircles the lower section of the base, while black piping is seen at the top of its white, vulcanized rubber sole. It also owns white shoelaces to accompany the aforementioned sole. This Offspring x Vans Authentic Pack will release in the coming months at Offspring and other select retailers worldwide. View additional photos below.

Vans OTW Collection

Posted: 20 May 2010 11:28 AM PDT

Last week, we showed you a video centered around the newly-designed Vans OTW Collection that featured Dimitri Coste, The Blackouts, and Eric Elms. Each person emphasized the Vans OTW Collection being ideal for everybody rather than singling out a specific genre such as music heads or skaters. We now give you a closer look at the Vans OTW Collection.

The Vans OTW Collection features some nice, new Vans silhouettes that possess very subtle design cues. In detail, the Vans Alomar model, shown above, is a high-cut, boot-like sneaker that comes in three colorways and uses high-end leather and suede materials. This model also owns a boot-lacing construction and the waffle sole that is used on many Vans sneakers. The Frazier and Tustin models contain low-profile silhouettes and are constructed in a predominately leather base as well. The Tustin features mesh panels on the heel and side panels, while the Frazier owns a scaled pattern on the side panels. Take a look at the Vans OTW Collection below.

Nike Huarahce 2010 Shawn Marion PE

Posted: 20 May 2010 10:58 AM PDT

Ever since former Dallas Mavericks player Josh Howard was traded away, we have been starved of fresh Dallas Mavericks player exclusives. The Dallas Mavericks color scheme definitely has the potential to make any sneaker look nice. With that said, take a look at Shawn Marion’s Nike Huarache 2010 PE.

The white leather base is offset by two shades of blue on the upper. Royal blue is seen in the form of the laces, midsole, Huarache branding on the heel and on the inner side of the tongue. The neoprene sock liner, along with the tongue and outsole are done up in navy blue giving this shoe very nice color blocking.  Nike added Marion’s nickname, the Matrix, on the tongue in white writing. In case you missed them, check out Shawn Marion’s Nike Air Max Turnaround and Air Max Hyperfly PEs as well.

Footwear Faceoff: Who Rocked the Better Nike Basketball Shoe?

Posted: 20 May 2010 09:28 AM PDT

Yesterday, we showed you one of Amar’e Stoudemire’s Nike Hyperize PEs that is actually being worn by his teammate, Jared Dudley. Dudley wore this fresh Nike Hyperize again in game 2 of the Phoenix Suns vs Los Angeles Lakers series; however, does he rock the best Nike Basketball sneaker on the Suns roster?

Steve Nash is another Nike Basketball member on the Phoenix Suns roster. All year long, Nash has been rocking the Nike Cradle Rock, a sneaker that is very hard to obtain if you’re in the states. The Nike Dunk-like sneaker features a low-cut construction much like a lot of Nike Basketball sneaker in today’s market such as the Kobe V and the Hyperdunk Low. Phoenix Suns PEs are usually some of the best thanks to their vibrant color scheme; however, who rocked the better Nike Basketball sneaker in today’s Footwear Faceoff?

**Note**: Participate in our newly-designed Footwear Faceoff voting poll below and choose whose basketball sneakers you liked more.
