| Jordan Carmichael Black/Metallic Silver Posted: 15 Jun 2010 02:28 PM PDT In addition to the Jordan Carmichael Black/Varsity Maize-White and the Jordan Carmichael White/Navy-Stealth, we now have spotted yet another Jordan Carmichael colorway that is available in an auction on eBay (size 9). The Jordan Carmichael is named after the arena where MJ played his college games (now named the Dean Dome). As for this particular pair, it is arguably the simplest colorway we have seen on this newly-designed sneaker. It actually coincides perfectly with other subtle elements of this sneaker such as the minimal Jordan branding and the originality of its silhouette. A black, perforated, mesh midfoot area is offset by a plastic overlay of the same color. Metallic silver shows up on the Jumpman branding on the tongue among other sections. Lastly, a black midsole and a translucent, visible Air sole unit complete this Carmichael. Look for the Jordan Carmichael Black/Metallic Silver to release later this year along with additional colorways. Featuring a mixture of nylon and suede, all four of these shoes feature at least one bright accent color. The first sports a bright yellow upper and gets help from blue and grey. Yellow is used as the secondary color on the next two pairs, which feature darker uppers or black/teal and forest green, respectively. The final pair makes use of red accents on an all grey upper. | Jordan Jeter Throwback Grey/Black-White Posted: 15 Jun 2010 01:28 PM PDT A couple of weeks ago, we showed you a series of Jordan sneakers that are set to release this fall/winter season including this particular Jordan Jeter Throwback colorway. We have now learned that this sneaker is now available at select retailers, namely Finish Line. The Jordan Jeter Throwback, a sneaker that incorporates the design cues of nine preceding Jordan models, is now available in a Medium Grey/Dark Grey/Black-White color scheme. This sneaker owns a number of player-friendly attributes including a protected asymmetric toe drag, an external shank for added support, and a 5/8ths cut. As for the colorway, medium grey covers the majority of the sneaker, while dark grey patent leather appears on the toe area, tongue and heel. Lastly, minimal black and white accents complete this Throwback’s color scheme. Now available at Finish Line. NBA guards Mike Bibby, Joe Johnson and Ray Allen have all worn special PE versions of this sneaker in recent months, but this general release colorway is still noteworthy. Black patent leather covers the toe and heel areas, matching up with the liner and lower midsole. White tumbled leather appears elsewhere on the upper. Metallic accents appear throughout. Head over to Finish Line and grab a pair if these are one your Summer hoops shoes of choice. The Jordan Pre-Game XT is the newest model that JB is hoping will usher in a new era of performance based footwear. Showcasing a unique lacing system and mid top cut, the Pre-Game XT’s construction consists of tumbled leather and breathable mesh. We got a preview of the Pre-Game XT in “For the Love of the Game” Pack but today we get a look at detailed images of two new colorways. Both colorways use Chicago Bull’s inspiration releasing in Varsity Red/White and Black/Varsity Red-White. The Pre-Game XT will retail for $90 with the Black/Varsity Red-White make up releasing in July followed by the Varsity Red/White in August. While the Pre-Game XT draws similarities to popular JB basketball models it is meant for training. Is this a model you would buy to play in or workout in? Is the design appealing for casual wear? The Bob Cousy Hi is being release in two simple colorways and a “Celtics” pair. The third of those are perfect for Boston fans who hope to be celebrating tonight. The Glide will hit shelves in white/black and white/green colorways. The most classic of the three shoes, the Center Hi, comes in Natural, Red, Navy, Black and Grey canvas builds. The classic ribbed sole sits underneath. We have seen the “Copper” Foamposite, the re-release of the “Eggplant” Foamposite and most of you have your sights set on the Foamposite Nike Air Force 1; however, Nike has also applied the coveted technology onto a newly-designed basketball sneaker dubbed the Nike Air Max Wavy. At a first glance, this sneaker features a very similar construction to previous Nike Basketball models such as the Nike Air 3 and the Nike 1/2 Cent. Some of its specific details include a visible Air sole heel unit, the ever-so-popular Foamposite material along the side panels and toe area, a mesh, net-like tongue and a vertical Nike logo on the tongue. The rest of the base is done up in black suede. As seen below, colorways include Arctic Blast/Black-White and Silver/Black-White. View additional photos below.
