Nike Zoom Kobe V Wolf Grey/Black-Daring Red Posted: 21 Jun 2010 12:58 PM PDT Earlier today, we notified you of the “Miles Davis” Nike Zoom Kobe V being available at select spots including Nike’s online store for $130. However, there are many more Kobe V colorways that are set to release later this year. With that said, check out this newly-surfaced Nike Zoom Kobe V Wolf Grey/Black-Daring Red. If you recall, we showed you catalog images of this particular sneaker, along with two other Kobe Vs that will release later on. Wolf grey makes up the predominance of the upper, while multiple black sections give this shoe very nice, subtle color blocking. Yet, the daring red hints, seen on the Kobe tongue logo, swoosh border and speckled midsole, seem to be the most intriguing aspect of this shoe. The Nike Zoom Kobe V Wolf Grey/Black-Daring Red will release in October. View detailed photos below. Nike SB Dunk Mid Pro Sport Red/Black Posted: 21 Jun 2010 12:28 PM PDT The Nike SB Dunk Mid has long possessed a certain design element that divides even the most devout SB wearers: a strap. For Fall, this Mid will appear without a strap in this proven color combination. We saw a rendering of this shoe last week, but this is our first look at the actual shoe in detail. Sport Red suede is used for the upper’s majority, though black leather interjects on the heel, Swoosh and toe box. A white midsole separates the black outsole from the upper. Expect a Fall release, as well as more updates on this shoe as its release nears. Jordan Rare Air White/Black-Cement Grey Posted: 21 Jun 2010 11:58 AM PDT We first showcased the newly-designed Jordan Rare Air at the end of April and the comment section was filled with both positive and negative comments. Some of you were disgusted from the first look, while others stated that it was a nice mixture of some of your favorite models. If you felt the latter expression, you will be happy to know that multiple sizes have made their way to eBay. Much like the Jordan Spizike, the Jordan Rare Air borrows an abundance of elements from sneakers within the Air Jordan series such as the Air Jordan III, Air Jordan IV, Air Jordan V and the Air Jordan VI. It also features a slew of design cues, including cement print and a speckled sole, that we rarely see together on one shoe. There is no word yet on when this shoe will officially hit Jordan Brand retailers; however, if you’re really feeling this sneaker it is available on eBay in multiple sizes as mentioned earlier. Nike Zoom Kobe V “Miles Davis” Posted: 21 Jun 2010 11:28 AM PDT We ended last week by alerting you to the availability of the Zoom Kobe V “Miles Davis” at select boutiques. To start this week, we’re notifying you that this pair of Nike kicks is now widely available at Nike Store. Photo Blue Flywire covers the upper, making for a bright but clean look. The heel cup and midsole are both black, and a white outsole sits underneath. Of all of the Kobes we’ve seen during this past Championship season, is this one of the best? Posted: 21 Jun 2010 10:58 AM PDT It is safe to say the ongoing LIVESTRONG x Nike Collection will not stop anytime soon. The month of April saw the release of LIVESTRONG x Nike sneakers such as the Lunarfly+, the Lunarglide+ and the Free TR. Now, we see the legendary colorway applied to the Nike Trainer 1.2. The LIVESTRONG x Nike Trainer 1.2 is now available at select retailers, including Finish Line, for $90. Although we have spotted a slew of fall 2010 Trainer 1.2 colorways, this marks the first colorway that is available for purchase in the states. Obviously, it features a black/varsity maize color scheme considering it’s apart of the LIVESTRONG collection. In detail, the base is primarily colored in black, while varsity maize accents, such as the flywire, the laces, the outsole and tongue logo, give this Trainer 1.2 nice color blocking. Celebrity Sneaker Stalker: Hot 97 Summer Jam Posted: 21 Jun 2010 10:43 AM PDT This Summer’s Hot 97 Summer Jam brought together some of the biggest names in hip-hop at the new Giants Stadium. And of course, any time there are big name hip-hop acts, there are big name sneakers. Helping us as our special guest for this edition of Celebrity Sneaker Stalker is Hot 97’s own Peter Rosenberg. Peter captured these images backstage, on-stage and everywhere in between, showing some of your favorite acts sporting some very nice kicks. J. Cole, Gucci Mane and DJ Khaled were just a few of the names on hand. "Woooo the Air Max 1s. I just got these from my people at West NYC. So fire." (Rosenberg's own kicks for the day) "J. Cole in those Jordan re-issues as well. Can't be mad." (Air Jordan 6 "Pistons") "Fabolous reppin' Brooklyn with Jordan as well." (Air Jordan 9 "Citrus") "Cipha Sounds loves these joints. His collection is pretty crazy and his matching is impeccable." (Nike SB Dunk) "You know how those Harlem dudes do. Juelz! AY!" (Gucci Sneaker) "Flocka in the Adidas and Gucci in the..well...GUCCI!" "Khaled in those DOPE Air Maxes. I really wanna see his collection..." (Air Max 24-7 "Chili") © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | 11 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
Nike Hyperdunk 2010 White/Del Sol Posted: 21 Jun 2010 10:28 AM PDT The Nike Hyperdunk 2010 has officially arrived. Chosen as the debut colorway for this revamped 2010 model is this White/Black-Del Sol scheme, which shows a simple but eye-catching look. White Flywire works as a base, while black accents appear throughout, including on the Swoosh, heel cup and toe outsole. Del Sol is the primary accent though and can be foudn on the midsole, heel and laces. On the leather panel surrounding the ankle support, a faint splatter design can be seen. Head to Nike Store to grab a pair and be ready for more colorways to hit shelves soon. © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |
