Posted: 22 Jun 2010 12:58 PM PDT Within the past week, we have spotted two pieces of CLAE’s upcoming 2010 fall lineup in the form of the McQueen Charcoal and the Russell Black. Now, we take a look at a new colorway of the Ellington model. The CLAE Ellington came in a simple yet stylish brown/white color scheme for the spring/summer season, and this upcoming season will see more of the same from the low-cut sneaker. A 100% walnut-brown suede base is offset by a red cupsole giving this shoe a subtle look with some pizazz. Monochromatic elements, such as the inner lining and the laces, complete this Ellington’s construction. Colored soles is something we haven’t seen from CLAE considering most of their shoes feature a white sole or a yellowed finish. What are your thoughts on this upcoming CLAE Eillington? Nike Trainer SC 2010 Low Black/Varsity Red Posted: 22 Jun 2010 11:58 AM PDT The Trainer 1.2 Hyperfuse may be getting all of the shine in the Nike Training department, but the Trainer SC 2010 is still going strong. This leather-built shoe has hit select retailers. Perforated leather is used in conjunction with Flywire to build out the upper, which is all black. Varsity Red trim lines every panel, matching the threads of the panels that appear along the sides. A mock ostrich Swoosh appears along the sides. Most Trainer SC 2010s have featured mesh builds to focus on performance, but this shoe like the “Baseball Glove,” focuses on casual wear. Could you see yourself wearing these casually? Nike Air Max 24/7 Black/Metallic Silver Posted: 22 Jun 2010 11:28 AM PDT The Nike Air Max 24/7 is already one of the more popular hybrid silhouttes in recent memory, and we’ve only begun to see colorways release. While the “Violet Pop” paved the way for WMNS color-ups to cross over into guys’ closets, this pair will follow suit with its greyscale look. Black mesh and white leather are used on the upper and lower portions of the shoe, respectively. Dark Shadow and Dark Grey appear in between to complete the Air Max 95-inspired gradient layering, while a grey-tinted Max Air unit ensures the steps you take will be comfortable. Hang tight for a stateside release later this year. Jordan AIR’S White/Varsity Red-Black Posted: 22 Jun 2010 10:58 AM PDT Much like the Jordan Pre-Game XT we showed you earlier today, the Jordan AIR’s is another one of Jordan Brand’s new silhouettes that received positive reviews when it first surfaced on the web. It is now starting to show up at select retailers, such as Eastbay, for $115. Although the Jordan AIR’S gives off a training sneaker feel at a first glance, this shoe is definitely a basketball sneaker. It seems as if it will be ideal for the outdoor game as it contains multiple mesh pockets for breathability. The tongue is also done up in black mesh, while the predominance of the base is constructed of white leather. Another interesting aspect on the AIR’S is its minimal Jordan branding which is a rarity from the storied brand. What are your final thoughts on the Jordan AIR’S? Is it one of Jordan Brand’s better sneakers not incorporated in the Air Jordan series? Jordan AIR’S © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | 4 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
Posted: 22 Jun 2010 10:28 AM PDT Nike SB seems to be dedicating a lot of effort to altering its proven silhouettes. Between the Icon x Icon program and the strapless Dunk Mid we saw yesterday, the skate sub-brand has revised a number of shoes. The Blazer CS was designed by Brian Anderson and this colorway has been made available overseas earlier than expected at Flatspot. Seen here in detail for the first time, this pair makes use of black suede on the upper. Contrast comes from the white laces, tongue branding and quarter panel Swoosh. The highlight of this shoe is the gum sole though, which is proven to work very well with a black and white upper, regardless of the silhouette. Nike Air Structure Triax ‘91 Black/Pink-Metallic Silver Posted: 22 Jun 2010 09:58 AM PDT We haven’t witnessed an abundance of Nike Air Structure Triax ‘91 colorways this year; however, the few pairs we have seen were nothing less than amazing (see Blue/Paradise Aqua, White/Green Blade-Blue. Nike Sportswear will soon release this Nike Air Structure Triax ‘91 Black/Pink-Metallic Silver at select retailers very soon. Besides the minimal pink hints, seen on the top laceholders, visible Air sole unit and Nike branding, this shoe contains a very subtle color scheme. Black suede and anthracite-colored mesh cover the base, while a metallic silver sole completes its construction. We expect to see a few more Air Structure Triax’ 91 this year; yet, a slew of them will more than likely release next year seeing that 2011 will mark its 20th year in existence. As stated earlier, the Nike Air Structure Triax ‘91 Black/Pink-Metallic Silver will hit retailers soon.
