Kicks On Court: Arenas Salutes Sir Charles with Nike Air Max 2 CB 94 Posted: 17 Jan 2011 10:27 AM PST It seems as if Gilbert Arenas has the utmost respect for Charles Barkley’s signature sneaker line. Last week, our Kicks On Court spotted Arenas rocking the ‘Glass Blue’ Nike Air CB34 in a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Over the weekend, we spotted the Orlando Magic guard sporting yet another sneaker from Sir Charles’ line. In a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Gilbert Arenas laced up the Nike Air Max 2 CB 94. Specifically, he wore the Black/White-Varsity Purple pair that released during the summer of 2010. The 1994 released Nike Air Max 2 CB 94 is undoubtedly one of Barkley’s best signature shoes and is arguably the most recognizable in his line. If you recall, Boston Celtics point guard Nate Robinson wore the White/Metallic Silver version of this sneaker on many occasions during the 2009-2010 NBA season. Did you purchase or pass on this sneaker last year? View these kicks plus more, worn by Eric Gordon, Kobe Bryant, Baron Davis, Gerald Wallace and others, below. Alternating blue and red details on the left and right shoes, along with a “3D” print application on the scaly panel, make this shoe jump off the screen, literally. Details include a milky outsole, dark grey midfoot and liner and an image of 3D glasses on the underside of the tongue. Stay tuned for more details on this upcoming release, and don’t be surprised to see more roll-outs in honor of Kobe hosting the All-Star Game.
