Nike Challenger Challenge Red/White Posted: 11 Apr 2011 12:58 PM PDT The Challenger is not released as much as other Nike models such as the Air Force 1, Dunk and Blazer; however, when we do witness Challenger releases, they are usually very intriguing. Check out this newly-surfaced Nike Challenger Challenge Red/White. It specifically features a combination of challenge red suede and open hole mesh on the upper with minimal touches of grey on the shoelaces, inner lining and midsole. To finish it off, this shoe is complimented with a white swoosh. View detailed photos below. Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 By Yoichiro Iwasaki Posted: 11 Apr 2011 12:12 PM PDT The Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 program is truly a one-of-a-kind experience that every sneakerhead should try. The process allows anyone with an idea or inspiration to create a customized pair of Nike Air Force 1s. Today, we have came across a new Bespoke designed by Yoichiro Iwasaki. This pair features a Space Jam-esque color scheme similar to the pair Bun B created nearly two years ago. The black, blue, and white upper is nearly identical with slight variations in materials and other small details, such as the use of a black outsole and the snakeskin toe box. The final detail that can be seen is the use of a zebra print synthetic on the Swoosh/tongue. Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer Low White/Varsity Royal-Volt Posted: 11 Apr 2011 11:58 AM PDT Volt’s a “fast” color, so it only makes sense that you rock it when you hit the gym or suffer through shuttle drills at dawn. To help alleviate the pain of pushing yourself for sports’ sake, the Nike has prepared the Zoom Huarache Trainer Low in a solid neon-laden colorway. Varsity Royal also accentuates the white upper and compression inner-liner. Whether you’re looking to get faster, or just rock something different this summer, pick up this new Nike now at Nice Kicks or via Shop.NiceKicks.com. CNCPTS x New Balance 999 “The Kennedy” New Images Posted: 11 Apr 2011 11:44 AM PDT As we inch closer and closer to the release of the highly-anticipated New Balance 999 "The Kennedy" (April 16, 2011), Concepts has provided us with a new, detailed look of this joint effort. This colorway of the New Balance 999 is inspired by the extremely large Massachusetts sailing community and the late John F Kennedy's love for sailing and other outdoor activities. The multiple red and blue accents seen throughout the tongue, inner lining and heel, are a direct nod to the signposts seen by the sea. The remaining panels on the upper are colored in khaki and grey. As stated earlier, the New Balance 999 "The Kennedy" will drop exclusively at Concepts and will be accompanied by a premium sail polo, a five-panel duck brimmed cap, artisan sail-lace tee, semaphore tote bag, signature Rayban Wayfarers, bucket hat, monkey fist key chain and a rope bracelet handmade in Nantucket. This time, they decided to go in a more informative, storytelling direction by giving readers a sense of how the sneaker game has evolved over the years. In this episode, Jay Goldberg, the owner of Miami International Sporting Goods aka Sneaker Heaven, talks about his memories of how he got into sneakers, getting his Nike account, the demand of Air Jordans and other early brands and models. Inside the Sneaker Box also incorporated a PIP (Picture in Picture) of the upstairs stockroom at Sneaker Heaven in attempt to give the audience a feel for what’s in store for consumers. Nike LeBron 8 V2 Low “Triple Black” First Look Posted: 11 Apr 2011 10:58 AM PDT LeBron James clearly likes his kicks murdered out. We’ve seen his signature don all black looks since early in his career, and the Nike LeBron 8 V2 Low will continue the tradition later this year. Matte Flywire is used on the forefoot and foxing areas, contrasting the mesh toe and quarter panel and the textured leather midfoot. The anti-“Sprite” sneaker, this colorway is stealthy and mean. Air Jordan 5 White/Midnight Navy-Varsity Red Detailed Photos Posted: 11 Apr 2011 10:28 AM PDT As non-OG colorways go, the “Midnight Navy” Air Jordan 5 has garnered a lot of attention. With its patent leather upper and patriotic colorway, it really comes as no surprise. Seen here in detail for the first time, this sneaker joins the “Tokyo23″ and OG Black/Metallic Silver color-ups for 2011, and seems to have won over sneakerheads already.
