Releases such as the “White Cement” Air Jordan 3, the “Sport Red” Nike Air Griffey Max 1 and the “Dark Neon Royal” Nike Air Foamposite One have undoubtedly forced many sneaker aficionados to get out and hunt for their favorite kicks. We are now midway through 2011. What’s next? We have compiled a list of 22 sneakers (plus two bonuses) to look forward to for the rest of 2011. This shoe barely made the list considering its release date is only three days away. Although Jordan Brand has released multiple Air Jordan 7 colorways this year, the return of the “Cardinal” colorway may be the most anticipated with the exception of the “Bordeaux” AJ7. Nike Air Max 90 “Stash” Custom Posted: 15 Jun 2011 11:43 AM PDT The “Stash” colorway has become a favorite and an icon for many sneakerheads. Already, we’ve seen this popular color palette used on some of the most iconic sneakers including the Nike Air Max 95 and Nike Air Force 1. Today, we’ve spotted yet another pair that has borrowed the harbor-blue based colorway. This particular pair of Nike Air Max 90s, created by Dank Customs features harbor blue tones on the toe box and ankle panel. This is complimented with side and toe cap panels hit in midnight navy. Finally, the midsole, lace eyelets, inner liner, heel tab and outsole are finished nicely in black. Since it’s inception in 1969 as a low top version of the adidas Pro Model, the Superstar has evolved into a truly versatile sneaker. Today, this beloved model has been spotted in two colorways that are befitting of the summer heat. The first pair features a bright toned orange canvas upper with white accents on the Three-Stripe logo, shell-toe and sole. A monochromatic upper shows the usage of three different materials, including mesh, nubuck and a uniquely printed mudguard. A white midsole and Max Air bag complement the Jumpman tongue branding.
