Vans California Era Wingtip “Wool” Pack Fall 2011 Posted: 14 Jul 2011 01:27 PM PDT It's not too often that we uncover a sneaker that can double as an everyday casual shoe and also as an everyday dress shoe. Today’s Vans California Era Wingtip “Wool” Pack passes both tests with an upper that exudes the class of a wingtip dress shoe and the comfort of a skate performance sneaker. All three new colorways have been slated for a Fall release, which is perfect timing for the wool materials used on each pair. The first pair features a tanned leather base with grey wool accents on the heel and toe box while the second and third pair make use of monochromatic black and grey wool/leather combinations. Each pair is finished off with a white midsole except for the black pair, which has been given a matching black midsole. Check out more images below. In detail, Jordan Brand will release the Air Jordan 11 Low IE White/Black in August. White, stitched leather makes up the majority of the upper, while a black, textured leather material separates the midsole and the rest of the base. In Retrospect: Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared” Posted: 14 Jul 2011 11:28 AM PDT Which Nike Air Maxes come to your mind when thinking of classic runners? The “Neon” 95s, the “OG” Blue and Red Air Max 1s and the “Infrared” Air Max 90s are all timeless runners in many sneakerhead’s eyes and rightfully so. The latter shoe mentioned caused an uproar in the sneaker community when Nike retroed it last July. Although the aforementioned “Neon” 95s and the debut of the Nike Air Max 24-7 garnered a lot of attention, the Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared” became the most sought-after runner in 2010. Did you purchase the Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared”, and was it worth the money you paid for it? If not, are you wishing you would have snagged them last July? How does this sneaker rank amongst the other Nike Air Max releases of 2010 (Parra x Nike Air Max 1, Nike Air Max 24-7 “Neon”, “Comet” Nike Air Max 95)? Lastly, was this one of your favorite Nike Air Max releases of 2010? Let us know your thoughts on the Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared” in the comment section below. © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | 28 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
